Large Order at BitMAIN (Guys need your help)

Hello everyone,

We are a mining company based in Georgia Tbilisi, in the Free Economic zone, with low electricity cost and no taxes.
We are located next to Industry's Leader Bitfury's mining farm.

We just ordered 100 units of L3+ Miners and 60 units S9 Miners  with PSU's from BITMAIN Technologies.

They issued us with a invoice of 284 000$. As we are a Holding company, we used Bank wire transfer as a payment method.

Today we went to the bank to make a transfer and completed it. After few hours bank calls us and asks for the invoice from BITMAIN technologies as this was a insured transfer by us that cost extra 6K.

So what happens is that, invoice from Bitmain clearly says "IMPORTANT: Please only include the order ID in the bank deposit message in order to credit your account. And do not mention BITCOIN, ANTMINER or any invalid messages in case the money will be returned by the Bank)

So, as we didnt pay much attention to this message and send invoice to the Bank, and invoice says "Antminer costs" the bank has read this message and they refunded our payment asap, and they said there is no way they will make this transfer as basically we are telling bank just send it bank, but invoice clearly reads out ANTMINER costs.
All usd transfer goes through USA banks, so there is no way in world, that the bank ignores this message. How can we not mention these words, BITcoin or bitmain or Antminer if the invoice itself says so.

Some banks might ignore this message for transfers up to 10-15K, but our transfer is 284 000 USD, its more than a quarter of a million.

Company is not quite sure how to complete the order, we not even sure if we can trust this by paying 284K by bitcoins or litecoins.

What is the alternative guys ? Has anyone made such a big order from Bitmain and how did they proceed it with the bank ?

Do you guys think that sending this guys quarter of a million worth of bitcoins or litecoins is safe??

How can we complete this payment if the bank asks for the invoice
and invoice reads out: Order for 100 Antminer L3+ and 60 S9, and at the same time invoice tells the bank not to mention word :antminer or bitcoin or any other crypto related thing"

We are so confused, we have a mining site of 1Mega watt electricity, with up to 1500 GPU's and we wanted to expand mining Bitcoin and Litecoin.

This is such a big trouble, that the money was refunded as SOON AS THE BANK READ THE INVOICE.

What can we do ?
Option 1: Delete this message from the invoice by photoshop or something similar
Option 2: Pay 284 000 $ worth of litecoin or bitcoin and pay them.

Company's shareholders are not very happy about buying 284K worth of bitcoins at CEX or localbitcoins and sending it to China.

I raised up to 800K for this business so far, 300K just sitting there to pay Bitmain and we just cannot do it.

We wanted to be diversified and mine allcoins possibly.

Any thoughts please

I'm sure you can open a ticket with the account you used.

Considering it's a quarter million worth of hardware, they'll probably answer you fast enough.

Why it wouldn't be safe ? Bitmain will honnor the deal ... i'm sure they handle order bigger then yours.

I would be way more concern about how much board and units you gonna return for RMA but you will receive your gears.

EDIT: You need to check your order status in your account on bitmain web site ... they will not ship anything you didn't pay for.

That's an excellent point. If nothing else, get a trusted courier to deliver a cashier's check. Buying bitcoins is great and all but with exchange fees and volatility you could end up losing out on more than $6000.

It is not like I  can carry this much cash in a suitcase to Hong-Kong. China

Im really working hard on this project, I raised so much capital as CASH, because banks dont finance Mining in my country, even if they take land and all hardware as a collateral. Im working to make network larger and more secure for everyone in the world.
Running a mining farm that support 1-2 Mega watt of electricity is not a joke, its close to lightning a whole small town of up to 3000 houses 24/7.
I hope someone from Bitmain Tech sees my post and offers some kind of Help.

Buy bitcoins, put in a hardware wallet like Trezor (which I have) and transfer it from there ?
Which exchange do you suggest to buy this much of bitcoins ?
I'm fully verified on CEX.io but limit is 100 000 USD Per day.
I'm worried that my stock is gonna be out by monday.

I tried so hard to raise this much capital, I transfer and go home happy, and in 2 hours the money is refunded.

Why do they say in invoice something that contradicts the rules of how banks work

I have few options unless someone advice me on something different, unless someone From BITMAIN Tech sees this topic and offers some help.

We are trying to run 1 Mega Watt mining farm. We wanted to be diversified so thats why I went to Bitmain to be able to Mine Bitcoin and Litecoin with their S9 and L3+ miners.

In total project aims to have more than 10000MHZ of Ether power, 1PHs of SHA-256, and 50400 MHz of Scrypt power.
The company might even offer cloud mining services in Future (6 month time) or even better, let everyone from around the world have shares in our company, do crowdfunding after 6-7 month. Providing full logs of electricity costs per month, make monthly profits to potential investors. This I am talking about 6-7 months from now, and give people real picture of Cloud mining services vs owning shares in Real actual mining company.

So far investment of 800 000$ is made, that is enough for generating the above hashpower for mining Bitcoins and ALtcoins.

Now what I need is help from Bitmain company, the money is there, we just need your help to buy 100L3+ and 60 S9.

So about options again:

Option 1: Remove the IMPORTANT Message from BITMAIN invoice and giving the bank PDF file of invoice without that IMPORTANT Message that changes everything and is against the Rules and Regulations of how the banks work and then just try transferring money from different bank. (THis is gonna cost company 2K withdrawing money from one local bank and transferring to another and 2 working days, again Im scared of Bitmain being out of stock by then)

Option 2: Buy Bitcoins worth of 284 000$, transfer to hardware wallet Like TREZOR and make payment and wait.

Option 3: Leave Bitmain, and aquire 1000GPU More, Radeon RX580 8GB (We already got 500) and just mine Etherium, Zcash etc...
And not be diversified as my project aimed, to mine different cryptos to offer more flexibility and security to our investors.

Don't the banks know anyways where the money is going just by looking at the Receiving bank account #.

Even if you don't put Antminer, Bitcoin, Bitmain, the banks know which bank account belongs to who.

How much was your account ? I can try different bank on monday but more or less the same rules.

Are you sure it has gone through ? Im also scared they might be out of stock by then.

I would strike out any offensive text from the invoice and initial it.   

Then I would send the marked up (edited) invoice and ask the vendor to re-issue it and append an update to the invoice number

For example the original invoice was INV #2017101, so ask vendor to re-issue the invoice with the edits as version #2017101b

In this way the companies can both see the business logic flow in the invoice versions. 

The bank would be dealing with INV 2017101b as you request it.   



If you wanted to send a large Bitcoin payment and it makes you nervous, I would suggest that you send about 10% of the total and wait for the first confirmation and then send the second 10% and again, wait for the first confirmation.    Do this a total of 10 times and you will have sent the full payment.    It might take you a day, but that's OK.  This method of sending multiple partial payments arguably minimizes your risk of loss.    It is more clerical work, but that is OK - you get what you want and you reduce the risk of making one big irreversible mistake.

Once the order is placed in BTC, you have 1 hour to complete the transaction (pay all btc)

Some people had problems with sending Btc to expired address.

They won't cancel the bitcoins but then there is another issue that might pop up depending on who you buy the bitcoins from hidden fee's some exchanges don't tell you about, if the money is taken direct from a bank in stead of storing the cash on the exchange then buy the bitcoins like Coin base, so be care full fees can add up, so i found out the hard way one time ...  and most exchanges limit how much per day per week per month you can buy at first till you build rep / trust with that exchange . it can take 7 days to get those bitcoins though some exchanges.

bitcoins are nice to use but a real pain in the ass @ times to buy or can be ... why I usually only mine and sell, an have yet to have issue selling coins like i do if i try to buy btc with cash .

DO what Unacceptable said if you can afford that much for miners then buy a ticket to China fly there and deliver the check in person...if it's a worry about how to pay, once Bitmain has the cleared cash in hand, you will get what you pay for ....or agreed to

now 2 problems:
We dont have coinbase, i can use CEX exchange and wire money be bank, not use cards because of fees. but again daily limit is 100K, withdrawal + if they accept bank... So total of 4-5 days..

2nd option: taking a check, we dont have cashiers check in Georgia, banks dont do it. Only way is taking cash, with me, 500Euro Notes.
I told Bella about my options and will wait for her reply, on monday there are going to be some clearer picture.

P.S. We do have local BTC/LTC website, emoney dot ge, But I dont know If I can trust them with this much money and they just recently implemented 2FA authorization

I'm really stack guys, and need to give clear answer to BFGroup shareholders. I have around 500 units of RX580's coming, and I rejected an offer to buy another 1500 at very good price from Saudi Arabia, a country that nobody reached yet, because its very closed country, nobody can just travel there or wire money just like that, bcoz of high terrorism threat, they check every dollar transfer there. So what I managed to do import from Saudi Arabia was greatest thing about this project, but for some reason I chose to diversify between BTC, LTC and esherium zcash and altcoins and buy L3+ and S9 100units each....

Things went really bad for us with BITMAIN order, Bella's email really had doubts in my transfer, she asked if we were sure if transfer was successful, it was like if she knew about this problem with wire transfers. I doubt they can take that "IMPORTANT" message out that makes thinks go wrong with banks..

If there are few more people around who had order with Bitmain 100K+ or someone from Bitmain community. If i get more replys before monday afternoon...

anyway thanks everyone and I am willing to share, whole process of building this Medium-Large(up to 1 MegaWatt) mining farm: building site, cooling systems, receiving stock, installation, and monthly logs of electricity costs, hashpower, and mined coines...

BTW, I asked Bella If I could travel to their HQ to deliver cash in person, but in Euros, cant carry so much USD.
If they agree and hold my required stock, I will do that, and might share that info, maybe they will let me video their facilities, who knows, maybe this problems happens for good, and travelling and meeting them in person might solve future problems such as maintenance, miner problems, parts.etc...

Maybe they can put me in their "Good customer list"  list for future orders, because in the end the project will only expand by adding more GPU's and Miners...

I don't trust BTC either with THAT large amount,all you gotta be is 1 digit off & you've sent to a non existent address & YOU LOST it all!!!!!!!!!!

Or worse you send to real address that is owned by someone & again, YOU LOST IT ALL!!!!!!!!!

Get a cashiers check made out in their currency,take a flight with an entourage of backup & do the deal!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't say when your leaving to anyone....
