I live in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and we rent an average apartment for a year costs 1 bitcoin at the current rate. Write your city and country and the rental price for 1 year.

P.S If there is a rich man here who can throw off 1 bitcoin. Know, I will live a whole year)) in my apartment Grin Grin Grin Grin
with your help

1 btc = 2 week to 3 weeks.

yeah, kinda expensive where i am..just rent

if you and in utilites and cost of living, 1btc = 1.5 to 2 weeks.

if you have a family you need 1~1.5 btc a week. (this is what happens when house prices go up)
What country is that?

Since the cost of living in where I live is super high, I would say for a 2 room apartment 0.15 a week. It is pretty expensive but this isn't including the taxes you have to pay when you exchange Bitcoin for fiat. So I would guess 0.2 would be a suitable amount.

This would be a good idea, especially if you could convert Bitcoin into your rent without involving the step exchanging fiat.

You mean 600$ a day? Which country do you live ?

600 a day that's about right.

interest on your home loan alone is between 1500 ~ 2000 a week to buy a average reasonable home (average house price in my city is about 1M usd, a house and that get you pretty much a crap house.  A house you can actually live in ok is about 2M USD),

if you want to pay it off , 2000~2500 a week

then

food = $300 a week
car = $100 a week to run (fuel + registration + insurance) (this does not include purchase price)
utilizes $200 a week (including internet power water gas)
rates = $50 a week
maintenance of typical property = $100 a week average easy though it comes in big bundles
incidentals = $100 a week easily

even school fees for the "free public school"....yeah get that, they charge 3000 a year.

this is no eating out and all shopping a cheap supermarkets, no holidays, no presents etc, no lux items.

so your looking at $600 a day no worries.....and then on top of that you have to figure out how to buy a house for your children because they will never be able to earn enough money to afford one themselves.

This is what endless money printing looks like via bank loans to the residential area.

Its my bad luck that Bitcoin not supported in my country. its illegal here. no one can said when bitcoin will be available/legal here in my country. even i can't buy any product here using my bitcoin. But I can use my bitcoin for buying online products like games,sowftware, apps,VPN,VPS etc.i hope bitcoin soon will be legal here and I can buy house using my bitcoin as a payment processor.

is it actually illegal. as in a law was passed to prohibit its use?

of is it that your country just doesnt recognise it and has not declared anything in either direction (pro/con)

Where I live 1 x bitcoin will put a roof over your head for about 3 months and this includes a 2 bedroom apartment fully furnished. The accommodation differ a lot from area to area, but semi-luxurious housing within the town centre will cost you about $800 to $1000 per month. So 1 x bitcoin could easily pay for average housing requirements for 2 months ^smile^

I am in manhattan, new york city. Rent here is about 1.5 bitcoin for a small 1 bedroom apartment, per month
I'm familiar with how expensive NYC rent is, but it always blows my mind.

Rent where I'm at is as low as $500/month,  so 0.183BTC is what that amounts to.  That's not average,  though.  But you could easily find a decent place for that price.  That would be 10 weeks of Bitdouble campaign earnings, so for those that think sig campaigns pay only pennies,  think again.

I live in Poland. 1 BTC = 4-5 months rent an  mieszkanie. Not too much Sad..

Wow. You pay 125% of minimum wage in Poland for a roof over your head and you call that it is not too much? Poland have one of the highest renting costs comparing to wages in Europe. Thats what is happening when you overfinancialise the economy. Thanks Goldman Sachs and company for making housing market a nightmare in Poland.

I live in Poland as well, and I rent the appartament. I would say that 1 BTC is enough for me for 8 months. Thats still an outragous sum but its only a 66% of minimum wage or so. I do not live in Warsaw though.

In my country I can pay rent for 1 year and 6 months for my apartment. Although other expenses are not included in this, it is only the rent of the apartment.
So yes it is super cheap as compared to other countries.

It really differs not just by country, but also by city of a specific country. There are a lot of factors when it comes to the cost of rent of an apartment. The most important factor is the location, whether the apartment is near the business district or if it is far away from the busy area. Of course, it is more expensive to rent an apartment near the busy area because it is the business district where a lot of people is trying to fit in and look for a good paying job. In my case, in the Philippines, I am renting my apartment for 20,000.00 pesos. In Bitcoins, it is equal to 0.1455850 Btc. Note that it is quite expensive because I live in Manila, the capital city of the Philippines, and the location of my apartment is a commercial lot.
