Hey guys, I just setup up my bitcoin mining setup and after installing the official bitcoin app and having a look through I later crashed due to opening a youtube page (for some reason my pc crashes when doing this while guiminer is at work) I tried re-installing and uninstalling the program but it keeps crashing when I open it. I also entered my bitcoin address into the deepbit pool account so what do I do?

I think I know why you crash with GUIminer running on Youtube. You most likely have hardware acceleration enable for flash applications. Next time you're on youtube, right click the video, go to "Setting...", and uncheck the box.

As for the bicoin app, is it not opening, hanging? Crash is very unspecific.

easy solution. stop watching youtube on your mining rig.
