Instead of saying the basic stuff like don't sell and other bla bla, I say, yes, go ahead and sell everything! All the fud and drama has clearly got the better of you, and you have made yourself look like someone just being here for a quick profit (which seemingly hasn't been working out well for you). If you're a trader, trade the volatility. If you're a holder, keep holding. If you're thinking about selling, then sell. If you fit in the latter case, you'll understand what the consequences will be once the market has calmed down.  |

Don't sell now, that would be a complete loss. Hold your bitcoins and wait for this whole situation to pass, as we're approaching the August 1st, the price will surely be going down more. |

Don't panic, there is nothing to be afraid of, there won't be split we will have SegWit2x and even when some radicals will still want to mine oldcoin it won't matter.
New bitcoin will retain 95% of tyhe price and will grow immensely in the process, I've seen many paranoia driven dumps in the past and I gotta say this:
Buy bitcoin now, store it on your machine, not online, not in your exchange wallet - in like 2 weeks when all the dust will settle price will reach new ATH.

I agree holding is the best way to face all this shitty situation. Most of the people may be thinking of to sell but it will be the worst decision to sell your coins at this moment. I really wasn't expecting today so much rise, 18.97% up currently as coindesk shows.

If someone was interested in selling then they should have sold at the time when the price was around $3000. It is not now the suitable time to sell your bitcoin. The only option I guess that you have is, hold it now and consider this holding a long term. I am confident that it will be very much beneficial for you. You can hope prices will be hitting 5 digits in very near future as many experts are speculating even 6 digit prices also. |

We can understand that you are frustrated and this is a good case of panic selling, this is not good since you will lose heaps of money and then the price will rise up and you will be even more frustrated. Well instead of doing that I would recommend you hold your Bitcoin. Bitcoin does take huge drops like this, and a drop below 2k, due to all the pre segwit fud and how it's going to kill Bitcoin, would certainly be possible. Bitcoin is super volatile and does tend to drop and rise in price a lot, and with such a big event (the hard fork), it would be expected that bitcoin would drop at least 300 in price. Now bitcoin has stabilised, and with over 80 percent of segwit support, recovered all the way back to the 2.7K mark and all looks good in preparation for the hard fork that should be going through. |

In my own opinion to sell all at this time is not the best because you can see that the market value of Bitcoin has gone up more than what it was as at the time you sent this message($1900 to $2725). And If you have already sold your bitcoin at that time am pretty sure you are regretting now. Even at $3000 or $3500 I will not advice you to to sell all your bitcoin except if you are in despirate need of money.

I think that I was fortunate enough to have bought Bitcoin and another Crypto currency last week. The fact is that the prices were low, but today it is already starting to rise and is quite good. At this price, I'm not ready to sell yet. And even more so to buy. For Sale I will wait even more. Bitcoin is going to recover. Don't sell for a loss because bitcoin will most likely be successful and will eventually surpass previous highs. Even if the price jumps to $4000, I would not sell all the bitcoins I have. I would sell a little to take a profit and buy back later, but I would hold some for long term because you don't know if the price just keeps going up beyond $4000 to $5000, etc. |

The answers are clear, bitcoin will always recover and the last decline was caused by people who spread bad news and misleading perception for other users, so they decided to sell instead of buy, and whoever bought bitcoin at $1800, should be enjoy their profits right now.
