Hi there

I was wondering is there any other site where you can use ripples beside gambling with them here http://www.ripplespin.com/ or trading them?

Thank you for your answers!

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I hope they allow new accounts by then, now account / wallet opening is invitation only.

I hope so too. Many of my friends seems to be more interested in Ripple than Bitcoin but they can't create wallets...

I am really curious when we will see some sites actually accepting them. I love that you don't have to wait for confirmations (like in Bitcoin)...

Not any that I know of, however there are people here on bitcoin forums who will purchase them for you if you are not interested in having them anymore.

Looks like it's working now (at least for me).

As for being Ripple a scam I don't agree. Sure it's not as decentralized as Bitcoin, but that might be a good thing in this case.
When you have real people with great connections results can be pretty amazing...

I think there is ripplebandit.com.   I played around with it a bit.

1) RippleSpin looks nicer
2) Also there is only 1 address which you can monitor should you so desire
3) Whole process is well explained and you can check Secret keys and Hashes
4) Live feed
5) I don't know what the limitations are on Ripple Bandit (max. amount etc.)
6) I tried betting on Ripple Bandit to this address: rJaMxkgD8BiANjGmD8nFt5XdJqcALFjJFB (payout 1.25x) and they just returned me the same amount... strange

It's not. If you go to the page where they ask you to type in your email to get an invite, there is also a sign up / log in button. It's just smaller so you can't see it  Roll Eyes
