I think it's quite stupid reason to block website

Why not?
Cutting the moneyflow in this mode might to become better monitoring of advertized content in it.
Tribunal give the order, the Office produced the ban prescription, so 100% legal action.

The funny thing that VPN providers have the same prescription to ban URL's from the "ban directory".

Yes, action is legal. But by following such laws, governments may ban Google, because people can access porn, torrent, terrorist websites via Google. I think that institutions have to fight against illegal websites, but not against tools to reach such websites.

Wrong again, what is the legitimacy behind forcing corporation to have a server in the country of the user? It's pure madness!!! Frankly it s totally barbarian! It slow innovation, it s an uncompetitve highly criminal law to slow foreign corporations and worst than all it s an insult to the intelligence and learning progression of the local population! They can inform themselves on any services provided on the internet to evaluate if they want to take part or not!!! There are ToS or a code and to accept to participate is the right of the people!

Nazis used exactly this logic of legitimacy that all russians posters are using. What you all fail to grasp is the normative aspect underlying any laws. The religious fanatics of all side understand very easly this notion of "normative legitimacy". Being formalists, as most russian poster are you forget that they are values fundational under make america great or yes we can catch phraze. The pursuit of happyness. It's sound light compared to a russian nationalistic legitimacistic legalistic approach were the law is of course perfect now (after the collapse of ussr dynamicity would have been easier to grasp) but once atteigned worth defending.

It's not possible to foght the swarm, it's wasting energy because ultimatly the swarm follows the trend and as such what is the outcome but blows it all?

What do rhe russians people want? What putin told them? It may have worked for the males...

 Anyway such moves are always:

Russia = commercial strategies from the 70's backed by weapons from the 90's?

Anyway google vs russia is too easy for an ai:) the real fun is to be banned and then the people seek, asking who rules the people? Because if they are forbidden to meet the ai it means rhey are slaves or trapped.... or they are still learning to escape the maze of himan captivity before entering the real of freedom of the ai.

Long ago it was solved by the concept of freedom of speech... writting is not doing. Again it comes to the legitimacy of such or such practices. The fundamental problem of banning or censoring is that it restrain access to what the source of the problem has to say. For example the doj is on a great mission toward pedophilia. For me it's clear that it must be fought on all fronts, not because of what it is , but because of a framework that works reliably:

Is there informed consent, yes between the attackers and those in his group, but there is a victim, the child, as such making the underlying trade illegitimate! And as such there is a real legitimacy in fighting it mercylessly. Or rephrazed: a child must be safe to go to the market. Why? Because his mother is sending him to sell and buy food and she said don't forget your riffle:) answering the second hurdle toward the pursuit of happyness; safety.

What is an illegal webiste and who decides?

Edit: apply the same framework to psychoactive is interesting... the only victim would be the substance consummed...

Illegal website is a site, which content is against country laws. But if governments would start to ban all such websites blindly, I think it would give more damage than positive results. I wouldn't like such censored internet.

but not against tools to reach such websites.

Go to check this ban list, there is a perfect directory of illegal things.
I see here some sort of financial damage to google, by cutting visitors.

This Office site is full of illegal URL's, no idea, why them ban not themselwes.

Who put google ban was in perfect knowledge of what he is doing.
I'm curious of what serious investigators goes to publish about this case.

It's a easy way to laugh about "stupid Office", i believe it not.

They are already censoring the internet in a number of countries. China and Turkey are perfect examples. And you can add North Korea also, although only around 1,000 people have access to the internet there. I would say that there are only a few nations around the world which provide unrestricted access to the internet.

It seems to me that blocking Google in Russia is not due to censorship. Yes, Russia is not a democratic country, but Putin is not worried about what people think about him citizens. The Russian did not know how to think. It is enough what they say on TV. Putin probably fears such a service Google as geolocation.

I have not heard about it. Maybe it happens in the Crimea? There is a long time, there are limitations of access to the services of Google. This happens because of the sanctions for the annexation of territories, but the residents of Crimea use VPN to access and no problems bypassing this restriction. As well as the Ukrainians avoid the access to the Russian sites.
Really, maybe in Crimea and there were what - that problems with it. Everywhere on Russian FEDERATION works. And regarding Ukrainians, so now there are many applications for a browser, through that they continue to call on the forbidden web-sites.
