Po.et has been showing some decent movement in the last couple of days. Being called out by some TA groups. Even though I dislike pump and dump scheme's, it's good that people finally notice Po.et again.

this is a short-term pump guys. on small volumes of trade to attract the attention of beginners. usually after this, large whales at once merge their tokens at a high price and the price falls below the levels they were at before.

How to scale blockchain tech to the enterprise
Though enterprise adoption will be slow, the blockchain could fundamentally change almost every aspect of the enterprise, says Po.et CEO Jarrod Dicker. https://www.techrepublic.com/article/how-to-scale-blockchain-tech-to-the-enterprise/

in this he is certainly right, but how to manage to make this change is easy, not only from the point of view of the code, but also in relation between the regulators. after all, the biggest problem at the moment is their relationship to projects. if the business begins to move, it will face court and tax problems.

How do you see there being problems? Don't make a claim like that without any reasoning.

The ⁦Po.Et ships big next week. As you know, the Po.Et mission is to leverage cryptographically signed messages to enable a foundation for a better web. ⁦David Turner goes deep on the tech here:

There isn't a day that goes by when our community doesn't ask us, "When mainnet?". After months of updates from the team on how Po.et fits into the landscape of media and the decentralized internet of the future, it's finally here: We're finally moving from testnet to the Bitcoin mainnet.

As of today you can now record your creative works on the Bitcoin Mainnet, securing the proof of their existence on the world's most robust blockchain.

The road has been long and we couldn't be more excited for what the future of Po.et holds. Check out this piece on Bitcoin Magazine, which reflects on this significant milestone and what lies ahead for our project: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/poets-mainnet-launch-puts-creative-content-data-bitcoin-blockchain/

In the meantime, we're incredibly excited to show you what we've been building at Po.et. To get started, please see our beta user migration guide:https://docs.poetnetwork.net/use-poet/beta-user-migration.html

See you on the other side!
- Po.et Team

Po.et has accomplished a lot, but if you are looking for quick updates, many other projects do not take on a project of this scope

The Power of Community.

Last week was a monumental moment in Po.et history: we launched on Bitcoin mainnet. As I mentioned in my “Mainnet Means Maturity” post, success for Po.et is defined as growth in the usage of everything we build. We don’t want to put in artificial and unnecessary barriers to bringing increased value to your applications, projects and content. We want to be extremely mindful of the incentives we create and the culture we build, while quickly modeling and exploring what those incentives should look like. Therefore, success is really measured in maturity and how much people trust the protocols and applications we’re all in charge of building through Po.et.

That time has arrived. We are here and we are excited. Now it’s time to move forward.

This is the last time you’ll hear me use the word “mainnet” as a milestone indicator. We achieved it, and now it is in the past (stamped on the Po.et Network). The future is about adoption, collaboration and utility to the protocol and that’s where 100% of the team’s efforts are going: Making blockchain, and the Po.et protocol an applicable value to the entire world.

When we set out to build Po.et, we wanted to make blockchain technology accessible and valuable to everyone. This comes from the incentives and overall motivations for the community and 0ur partners to build the next wave of applications for the better web. Po.et is broad by design, in that we believe that the future products built on the protocol will be built outside of the core development team. Our commitment is to maintain and strengthen the foundations set for everyone to structure on top of. And now the protocol is open for you all to build upon.

It took little time for someone to get started. Just today, Bryan Isbell of the Po.et community created an Alexa hook so that anyone can vocally stamp proof of existence on the Po.et Network. See here: https://twitter.com/jarroddicker/status/1070385716172066816. It’s an incredible use of the technology and Bryan continues to be one of the leading innovators in our space.

Over the next few weeks, there will be more activity and work being done on top of the protocol as well as partnerships to help fuel move this effort forward (more to come on that soon). We’re going to keep this brief, as we have a lot in the works and more to share with you soon. In the meantime, start building; we’re here to support and will be grinding away on new applications to push forward with the rest of this incredible community.

Let’s go POE.

Jarrod's Update - Tuesday December 18th, 2018

The end of the year is here and it appears the holidays came early for Po.et. In case you hadn’t heard, we solidified a monumental partnership with New York Media, publishers of New York Magazine, Vulture, The Cut, and Slate (amongst many others). Po.et will be integrated into the company’s Clay Publishing Platform. Clay is a perfect match for Po.et. It’s already powered by open-source software, ready for mobile-first, publish anywhere websites that need to support complex monetization strategies, and is making new technologies accessible to a new class of publishers. We expect the platform to begin integrating with Po.et’s functionalities in early 2019. You can read more about it on our blog: https://blog.po.et/po-et-is-coming-to-new-york-medias-clay-publishing-platform-303264105dda

New York Media isn’t all we’re excited about though—we’re already looking forward to 2019. The opportunities to spread the word about all the great work we’re doing at Po.et continue to come; At the end of January, we will be sponsoring DCN’s Digital Content Next Summit in Orlando. It’s a great opportunity for us to come together with senior-level digital executives in order to facilitate conversations which will ultimately drive the business of media forward.

Following DCN, I’ll be jetting off to Austin to speak with Sara Fischer from Axios at SXSW. With so many legacy media organizations still tied to outdated technology and infrastructure, we’ll be exploring blockchain’s role in empowering journalists and creators to realize the true value of the content they produce. It’s going to be a great event.

As we wrap up the year, it’s incredible to look back on everything the Po.et team has achieved. But, more than looking back, it’s equally as important to look forward. Now that we’ve moved to mainnet, we will be focusing heavily on getting contributors and community products built on our protocol. We’re devoted to ensuring Po.et is open and accessible for all and it’s our mission to give everyone the tools they need to be successful. We value each and every member of our community and without you, we wouldn’t be where we are today. We’re thrilled to see what the new year brings and are excited to have you along for the ride. Here’s to 2019. Go POE!
