Well, Newbie....You should have followed through. Like stayed and "paid"....but you didn't. And then there was a "turn of events". Which CAN, and did happen. Therefore, if you had stuck around, you could have bid. No one here is to blame that you took off to go to a bar, vacation, Grandma's house, or a ho-down. The truth of the matter is THATS ON YOU!!!

I think that it is not quite that simple.. and in any case, it is not fair to treat anyone differently based on how many posts they have.
I very much see av8rjeff's perspective as legitimate. Had I done the auction properly everything would be fine, and had I not been locked out, everything would be fine. Further, I had massive time-zone confusion from travelling through three continents in that 2 week period. I don't know how to make this right for everyone.
That said, Fattcatt has paid, and I don't think I can take that back.
