send a pic first..they likely won't repair this and refer you back to the shipping company

but no, likely at D3 mining not worth the price IMHO

is there any board or anything salvageable of any note on this unit...you might get something for a board....assuming it half-assed works (doubtful)

you could contact Lightfoot on here...he may simply look at it for free..he is in the USA and repairs knc titans and stuff..perhaps you'd get lucky

ask him, he likely would not charge you zip if it is unfixable

on a side note, you should with a picture at LEAST IMHO, be able to take this off your gross income as equipment for a complete loss, even if

you did not use it as such, for equip deduction.....not sure which is better or any difference...

good luck, but a few pictures to Lightfoot may be helpful to at least know if any hope or not.....

but again, at least you'd have the view of a miner tech on this beast (again pics...)

just dont mind discarded u can really do anything about them because those shares not real for you because when u are mining actual block there are other blocks mined same time from same pool so when u fully mine block it sees that there was another block which is already mined so it u cant mine it and miner sets it as discarded

you cant get rid of discarded shares, because when you accept share to mine block there are other shares accepted same time for other blocks on same pool, that means pool as whole entity is mining several blocks same time so when u finish mining block your miners sees that there are other shares and accepts them but they are already mined so miner sets them as discarded, imagine that you have hashrate of the pool you are mining with and you are solo in this case you find block mine it and you go to the next block which was found same time as previous block because nobody else mined that block so no discards

tho if you want to get rid of discarded shares you always can solo mine if you are alone nobody can mine block that you found also when you find block all of the coins there are yours

on other note you really should lower settings, temps are kinda high and  16k hw errors? i get worried when i have 1k but it's me

Anyone using p2pool private node, or p2pool in general with DASH ? Are you all mining on a switching pool ?

I've set up a p2pool node and I've been mining on it for a few hours. The payout is way lower than expected and when compared to prohashing. This puzzles me.

Any idea ? Just be patient ?

The payouts are linked to when the blocks are found, so seem to come through randomly. You can get a payout twice in a minute and then not for a few hours. So, yes, just be patient and leave it running for a few days before you compare. I have personally found it the most stable type of pool, having tried prohashing, zpool, granatgas and suprnova. I also like the regular micro payments.

Thanks. I set up my own p2pool node a few days ago. I can say it takes patience but then it's better than any other pool I've seen. And I like the fact that I control it and somebody else. Earnins seem higher. The only downside is that you're mining dash only. No switching. But it's worth it at the end as I usually find myself mining dash most of the time.

You can try the firmware update, down clocking after that and a hard reset after that. If it persists, it is likely a bad H Board.

depends on hw errors, check DiffA# bellow you will see some numbers and in 5th row you will see % if it's lower then 1% it should be ok, actually i have around 2.5%-4% which is kinda high

Im confused by the dates.  At the top of the page it says the hardfork will happen on 12-28-2018 and in the body of the post it says it will happen on 12-28-2017?   Im not sure the info is accurate

I really haven't found better than suprnova. People keep bragging about different pools having higher payouts, but every time I switch I find them to be full of it. They are a good pool, maybe a coin switching pool can get you a bit more, but not much. You'll probably sacrifice a bit of stability.
