Quick PoS question, since this is from the official site: "Users staking coins through their local wallet will receive a fixed 5% APR with payouts based on the number of coins staked in the wallet."

Does this mean you get a fixed reward with every block? Or is it like with usual staking where you simply have a greater chance of getting a whole reward if you stake more coins?
As I understood :
Fixed reward, based on the number of coin in your wallet and available for stake :
If you have 10k coins, you'll get 500 sigt a year reward (paid daily)
It is not like masternode where you need luck in order to get a reward.

Switched pools and now I am earning more per hour, strange as the pool before was displaying exaggerating claims of earnings which led me to switch. it may balance out over 24hr but at his rate I am earning 80 more sigt a day. lets see what it actually pays in 24hr. I will not name either pool at this time.

Ok posted this after switching my rigs to a different pool at midnight GMT +1 it is now 19:40 GMT +1 and the new pool has already paid out 40 sigt more than the old, yet both display similar estimated earnings.

so for name sake pool 1 was claiming x amount, however, for over 2 weeks mining period, paid an average of 80 less than estimated earning, per day.

Pool 2 so far is on track to hit the estimated earnings if not slightly more, that pool 1 was originally claiming it would.

Be careful what pool you use, and do your research. I will not name names, as these are my findings, and it may be an isolated case.

This is completely fucking useless

Pool 1 and 2?

lol

Might as well have not said anything at all

Like i said, I wont name the pools in question as I may be an isolated case, I am not about to ruin a pools reputation, just because I had a problem.

Useless, why? the idea is to raise awareness, if it makes you stand and take notice, and the same is happening to you, then I hardly see that as useless information.

Lets be honest, if you was stood in the street and a bus was heading towards you and someone said "watch out for that bus" would you continue to face that person and say "what bus is it" or would you turn look and react accordingly?

Awareness is all I am raising, you need to look for yourselves to see if the same is for you, because it may, or may not be.

Might as well have not said anything at all. . .

For all I know you're not even talking about the pool I use, why would i bother worrying about it?

It's only useful if you put a name to them

edit - would have been so much mroe tactful to say "remember to check payouts some pools don't seem to give as good a payouts as others"

Instead you gave a specific claim with probably extremely poor data. . .

I gave a personal claim, with my own data, which was reiterated as to why no pool will be named. if the information is so irrelevant to you, why bother to comment at all.

("remember to check payouts some pools don't seem to give as good a payouts as others") I agree, is merely a simplified version of what I did say.

I am not here to argue over he said/she said, and bob did what. I was merely raising awareness for others to have a look at their own pools, and payouts.

now I wish you a good day, and no hard feelings.

Signatum is a great coin. But I have to admit that I like FUD. It shakes out the weak hands and makes the reward for the true believers even greater.

The great Signatum FUD story :

"scamcoin ! devs are anonymous so obviously they are trying to scam people !"
> implying everyone know the creator of bitcoin.

"shitcoin ! this coin has no purpose !!!"
> roadmap and whitepaper released.

"scamcoin ! first 1000 blocks were instamined"
> guy still mining and trading ETH, zcash, and other ICOed or 20% premined coins.

"deadcoin ! there is no exchange to trade this coin !!!"
> sigt listed on cryptopia.

"shitcoin ! no one wants to mine this shit !!!"
> nethash reaches 6 TH/s

"deadcoin ! Devs are gone !!!"
> OSX wallet released, more TOR nodes added

"scamcoin ! there is a known scammer in the marketing team !!!"
> scammerz fired.

"scamcoin, deadcoin ! price fall to 500 sats, devs dumped ! sell sell sell ! sell now or cry later !!!"
> price recover quickly to 1500-2000.

"dead coin ! Devs are gone !!!"
> devs prove they are still alive, active and working on the project.

"shitcoin ! devs are anonymous so obviously they are trying to scam people !"
> implying a name and a photo on a nice ICOs website protect you against being screwed.

"shitcoin ! this coin has no real usage !!!"
> marketplace is online.

"scamcoin ! no escrow on the marketplace"
> escrow implemented.

guess what will come next lol
Why the price is low and no investors exist
If these specifications why do not trade in  bettrex and Poloniex

Now the price is low. Some sigt I bought in exchange for eth. It's still a long way to the POS. I'm curious what to do with the price then. Also after the addition of the new exchange will increase the price. I am still holding and holding and not selling.

no investors ? so why always on top 5 in volume on craptopia since launch ?
Since the begining Sigt has more volume than almost 60% of the coins listed on bittrex.
Not on trex and polo maybe because the coin is only 1 month old.
Please remind me : which coin was added on trex during the last month ?

Thanks guru, i will give a second chance to the discord channel. In the last one i was in like not even one hour to feel what was going on there...

$SIGT sitting at ~1500 sats is just disrespectful.

If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.

It will rise again, just need the part timers to clear off and reduce the sell orders. Biggest threat is those cashing in before POS, unfortunately crypto after bitcoin has held a media persona of "get rich quick scheme".

As it matures and the market becomes flooded with both miners and coins, that is a mindset we need to move away from, as we steer towards the I.O.T. value should come in the form of what projects offer both longevity, and use-ability at that time.

This, I believe will be one of them.

Can someone explain me why people want higher price RIGHT NOW? Unless they're the guys who bought on top of the pump @ 4-5k sato and want to quit right now with less losses.

Higher prices > more miners > higher diff > higher sign mining costs. So harder to collect good bag for PoS...

A bad chart could kill the coin. Volume is high now, that won't happen if it just keeps plummeting...Need it at least going up and down for people to pump up volume and drive interest

CryptoWinner I apologize if that may of come across as wanting a higher price right now, I assure you it does not.

I was trying to explain to the previous post, that a higher price is not currently needed, over the current nor future value of the project.

The Marketplace looks allot better than initial launch, still a young coin. If devs remain active I'm sure price will gradually increase, give it time.

Unfortunately I have followed the instructions for mining SIGT through a mining pool with GPU on this website:

http://cryptovore.com/2017/07/19/how-to-mine-signatum-sigt/

but it seems that it is not working, as soon as I run the signatumminer.bat file I get an error message.

"WARNING: GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS is not specified!"

I have already changed the setting of "setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT" to a "5" which  is a very low number but same error. Any missing instructions on the webpage that I didn't follow?

First update you all drivers.
Second, if you use not graphic cards miners, you need more inform and i help you

You mean update all NVIDIA drivers? I am not using a mining device. I am just relying on my own laptops graphic  card. So can you help me with that? Somebody said to use ccminer. Where can I download it? And what to do to efficiently mine it?

First stop where can I download CCminer? can you give me some links.
