Those that do what he says.  He gets their coins.

Pretty simple scheme he has going.

1) He buys coins cheap prior to announcing his pump.
2) He announces what time his pump is going to be.
3) Dumbasses flock to that coin and buy it up, thus driving the price up.
4) He immediately dumps all of his cheap coins on top of the dumbasses, thus dropping the price like a rock.
5) He profits, they lose.

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

It would be a majestic plan. Buy the 700k LTC Wall, use market power to pump price to $6+, sell slowly, and make myself a millionaire.

So it's BS.

So why do people still listen to him?

Why do people do half the things they do?  They're suckers for easy money.

So basically, doing the exact opposite of what fontas announces should make you profit a bit.

Well the problem is, he's already driven up to price of the coins a little bit, by his buying activity before he even announces the coin.  So he is always guaranteed to win as long as he sells early and people continue to listen to him.

So in theory, yes you could profit a little bit, by doing the opposite of what he says, but at some point even you would lose that, because he's starting to even lose respect among the hurr durrs.

First few were very profitable if you weren't greedy.

he is a clown, people who appear to idolize him are:

1. Trolls who like the entertainment.

2. His fake aliases.

3. small majority of people who by chance made some money.

I don't think a few people listening to him will do anything to the price, and I don't think he has enough money to change the price.
So basically, he's just telling everybody he pumped the price when a coin went up and telling he dumped a coin when it goes down, everybody actually can do this, I don't think enough people take this serious enough to matter anything.

As the price rises due to the noobs buying he'll be building sell walls in increments so that when the price does tank it breaks through all his sell walls each in turn and he makes a nice tidy profit leaving the noobs holding the can.

He did actually execute several pumps that he would announce beforehand. He would create hype and make a huge buy wall for the coin he was pumping, then people would start buying it driving the price up, and he would remove his buy orders. Finally, he'd dump his hoard of coins causing the price to drop but still being worth a lot higher than it was. Haven't seen him do any pumps since he did DVC a few weeks ago.

I think you guys are missing the point.

Fontas' pumps are real because they happen. It doesn't matter if he does it, or the noobs do it. You can profit off the noobs, and he does have influence.

If you are quick enough you can make money from Fontas' rumors.

Last times people trolled fontas, when announced the NVC pump everybody did the opposite and sold: the price fall to half. I'm sure he lost a lot fo coins that day.

The worst enemy of Bitcoin is Mt.Gox exchange.
