Finally received the funds a a full 11 hours after sending them from Dwolla. That is just sad. I am better off just using Dwolla to put the funds in CampBx immediately, then buy BTC there and xfer to Gox. I will lose the wide spread at CampBx but not sure what else to do.
It's amazing that mtgox is the "leader" of exchanges and still has problems like this regularly. Only a matter of time before someone better comes along and replaces them imo.
The problem I had with mtgox is I tried to get verified and after waiting nearly a month they said my verifcation was denied because I didn't upload a government issue ID. I did upload one though, so I wanted more detail on what what wrong (I think I scanned it at the wrong dpi). Their email said I could respond to if I had any questions , but after waiting another 3 weeks trying to get some more informaiton on how exactly I can get my account verified I haven't received a single email back from their customer support..... So it's been almost a 2 month wait now and still no verification and still no communication from mtgox. Wow, that's really bad.
For anyone else out there having problems.... I've been doing dwolla > bitinstant > mtgox . dwolla to bitinstant can take up to a day or two sometimes but it's usually pretty fast and then bitinstant to mtgox is usually within an hour or two.
