Is there really overpopulation in the first place, I think not, Even with the largest population in the entire world, I don't think China is really overpopulated considering the large uninhabited areas they have in their country in the first place.

There's no such solution because we can't control someones mind to control themselves. but we can avoid it by ourselves, by simply thinking and sharing to others what's really it is. but overpopution is not a big deal compare to all the problems that came in our country. Have you ever been to China? Visit the major cities such as Beijing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai and you can see how over-crowded these cities are. In some cases 7-8 individuals are cramped in to a small room measuring less than 100 sq.ft. And I agree that there are vast open areas in China. But most of these areas are desert, especially in the provinces of Xinjiang and Gansu.

I think family planning is the best solution to this problem. Many filipino problem that how to resolve population. But i think its not easy because many filipino have 4- 10 children and even more. So i think family planning is the best solution.

In my opinion govt of every country should make some rule about having children before getting too late. Government should make rule that a couple can have 2 to 4 maximum children. But it should be implemented before a country become over populated. Then this rule will be of no use. Or Government should provide birth control pill for free. What if a poor people does not have money to buy birth control pills??? Other important thing is education. Govt. should educate about having less children.

In my country every one say or have an opinion that poor people have only one aim in their life. That is making their family large

What is the best solution to resolve our problem in overpopulation?

1. Hormonal changes.  Forced or voluntary.  Less sex, less conceptions.

2. Sterilization on a mass scale.  One child per family globally.  You have a child, both parents need to undergo permanent sterilization before they receive the child. If they refuse, they should be arrested and undergo forced sterilization and pay for it.
 
3.  Tax incentives, no income or sale tax, free housing for those who undergo permanent sterilization voluntarily before having children.

It is a hard problem to solve because any modification to human behavior go against our natural survival instincts.

There are so many answers to this questions; however, this is a very sensitive topic that would encompass religion, society, personal beliefs, and many other aspects in its core. For me, I think before any solution can be proposed to any person, there should be an understanding of how overpopulation would affect one's life and the society he lives in as well as the environment he is a part of. Once he understand those aspects, then it would be easy to propose any means like family planning, taxation, and other modifications.

China's one-child policy was thought to be an effective method. By limiting the government support to families by only giving benefits to household with only one child, they thought it would lessen their problem of overpopulation. Their methods of family planning became were changed; however, it did help lessen their huge rate.

The family planning model of China isn't perfect. It's prone to many flaws, but if every country had a policy similar to it, having fused their own culture and tradition along with the legal system, then we'd have less problems on overpopulation.
