There is no population problem. There is government leader problem, and people stupidity problem.
The earth has approximately 196,900,000 square miles of surface area (
https://www.universetoday.com/25756/surface-area-of-the-earth/ ). This equals over .026 of a square mile for every man, woman, and child currently alive on earth.
How many square feet is this .026? It's about 724838 square feet. That's like a square area about 851 feet on a side. It equals over 16.5 acres... for every man, woman and child on the earth.
But, you say. A lot of that surface area is water. Who can live on water, like on the oceans? This problem is being solved by the Seasteading company, right now -
https://www.seasteading.org/. While they are just starting, right now, the thing they are doing can be expanded as there is need. In addition, if you search for it, you can find other companies and people who have made floating islands.
The neat thing about the Seasteading idea is, out in the ocean depths, skyscrapers could be inverted. In other words, the islands could have hanging living space, that descended under the islands at least several hundred feet, easily... just like buildings are built multiple stories high on land.
In addition to the above, consider Siberia with 5,057,938 square miles and a population of only 36 million. That's only 7 people per square mile. Canada has 3,855,100 square miles with a population of less than 37 million. That is only a few more people to the mile than Siberia.
Now let's consider New York City. NYC has an area of about 302 square miles, and a population of less than 9 million people. The whole United States has an area of 3,794,083 square miles. If you did a population density of NYC on the whole U.S., you could stick 106,787,104,304 people on the land of the United States alone. That's over 14 times the people living on the whole earth right now.
What about food for all those people? Properly used, the oceans could be made into farmlands in all kinds of ways, to easily feed such a large population.
The point is that there is no overpopulation problem by a long shot. All that there is, is governments and wealthy people who are regulating the populations for their own advantage... which includes spreading the idea that there is a population problem. Judging by how many people in this thread think that there is a population problem, I'd say that the population propagandists are succeeding with their propaganda, or they have hired a bunch of trolls to say such. If it's hired trolls, population must be one of the big issues that they are using to control the world.
