I don't understand how prediction markets are legal in any respect in the United States.
As far as I know, prediction market is no different than buying security-based swaps.
You basically make a transaction with a prediction that something is going to happen just as you make a bet on something and expect to profit from it. SEC made very clear that if you are not eligible contract participant, you are prohibited from offering and selling security-based swaps. I think prediction market falls under the same category and might be regulated as such. Also, online gambling is legal in the US and this is technically gambling.

I'm here because I saw Floyd "Pretty Boy" Mayweather posting about this on Instagram. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. He has 16 plus million followers, some of them whom have never heard about cryptocurrency, nonetheless an ICO. I think he is one of the biggest celebrities bringing awareness of the crypto world to the masses. Hopefully he makes a killing off of Stox. I'm done with ICO's for a while. Good luck though.

If this is a fork of some projects floating around and have it hype on wings platform then it will not get much of a support from investors but if they do offer a unique innovation on their platform it will get a lot of attention.

Stox will be huge! I don't know any other project who used a superstar to advertise their ICO. Floyd Money Mayweather touch it, then it turns gold. Stox will be the king of crypto market. Its competitors don't know what to do now. I guess Wings will come to an end after Stox launch.

Will there be an Ethereum address/smart contract that we can just send ETH to on the day?

Thanks for you question, its very relevant these days. The ETH address will be published on STOX website and only there. We might publish the address prior to the start of the tokensale to prevent last minute surprises like CoinDash.
Anyway, securing the funds is at top priority for us.
