port - is for the wallet to talk to other wallets p2p style and make the network run rpcport - is for your miner to connect to the wallet, also receives commands to control the wallet (so have a good password)

Yeah, a 5% fee for the pushpool is very high. Why are you asking double what everyone else is asking ?

@TheSwede75 I just tried if the source builds fine. No reason to post dickhead replies.
Well how about everyone chill out and wait for the actual source files to be released. It's 6 hours to release..

$difficulty = $bitcoinController2->query("getdifficulty"); $height = $bitcoinController2->query("getblockcount"); $blockValue = round(1 + ($difficulty / 24) / (1 + ($height / 194400)),6);
Does that look correct? or should I modify it a little? (this is in php)

I'm going to be lowering the Fee on my site down to 1 % I'm going to trust that people put money into elacoin.org's bounty so that I can claim it for my pool

What the hell do people need mining guides for, for each coin that comes out? It's the same damn thing, only thing different, is the nodes and port numbers I would guess that there are people like myself who have little experience with solo mining, or who are just new to the community in general. Try to have an open mind, no need to noob bash. so you're saying this impairs the function of your browser to read other threads on this board and find the same exact instructions that are for every coin out there? (except for PWC and JKC which BOTH have broken linux builds now looking for files like E:\something - new trend, people are copying busted makefiles around - definite mark of an UNPROFESSIONAL release - can elacoin NOT DO THIS? seems unlikely..). Please note MINGW32 cross compile environment for windows is NOT needed for linux d or -qt coin tools! Huge bunch of crap. Please do NOT try to include it in the linux build. see this post about how i fixed PWC linux: http://www.altcoinforum.org/index.php/board,20.0.htmlanyway, that will require using your browser too, so might be considered me being a jerk not just posting a copy of the message here. sorry.

49 minutes till launch? That timer is for people on Eastern Standard Time. I'm working on finding a decent timer that gets your current timezone.

I'd post no countdoun then, as on average 23/24 people are going to be misinformed this way.
