Elacoin has not being released yet.

TradeFortress has left me negative trust and has provided no proof to substantiate his claim. He has done this to discredit me as I am investigating him.

Elacoin has not being released yet.

He obviously wants to premine it, and since he/she/it hasn't read any posts, he/she/it wouldn't understand that it will be started from square 1.

Preliminary HazardCoin features:

Retarget every 6 hours
5 minute block target time

^ Both largely irrelevant because... Block reward will be based on the amount of time passed since last block found. This will accomplish the following:

* DDOSing pools to decrease difficulty will accomplish absoluetly nothing
* Discourage pool/coin hopping
* Provide incentive to continue mining even when nethashrate goes down (i.e. feathercoin)

people mess with block times a ton on TRC to fudge the guessed hashrates others use to hop in and out of it. for some reason NTP isnt used to test/sync time, but im assuming such code isnt written to create a protocol on agreedupon timestamps, so I figure this is probably harder than you think.

sorry to interupt the drama, FUD and namecalling with actually interesting stuff. carry on.

i just fear he snuck some nasty code into the make file that executed at maketime instead of runtime Sad time to compile everything in a chroot if not a VM...

Can you read, someone is mining the coin already. 25 plus nodes Tongue

QUICK! Someone launch an Altcoin! There will be like 1000 nerds here in 2 hours with total 'premine blue-balls' if they don't have some kind of scam to throw their GPU power at!!

haha i called it, if not suggested it. got some IPs of the nodes? Smiley

Right ?

Wrong.  There are not going to be any windows binaries at release time.  So if you use windows you are screwed initially.

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.
