Probably Armageddon. Bitcoin can drop to 1 USD if something goes wrong. Scary scenario as fack in the dark. I dont know myself if to invest now or wait and see what happenes. From all the empirical evidence it doesn't seem as though there's enough support for SegWit for it to come to pass. As such, the most likely thing is the main chain will split and the SegWit chain will die.

Some people like Dr. Craig Wright (The guy who claims to be Nakamoto), threatened to start a large mining pool to kill off SegWit if it does come to pass.

This is another way of other people to drop down the value of bitcoin they didn't know what will actually happen after august 1..
Almost poster here are newbie and i don't think you can push back the value below and i think the price can increase more soon.
Segwit is just small piece of code to just to improve the bitcoin and i think it can't affect the overall if what is bitcoin right now and after activation..
If you sell your bitcoin today you lose the opportunity to make profit after august 1..  look at the market more people are buying bitcoin and we are currently $2,800 value.. sooner it can reach $2,900 value and reach $3k..

Same here, since there will be no more hard fork that is going to happen on that date. Bitcoin's price is on its track again and start increasing last night, I'm even planning to convert some of my bitcoins when it hits $3000 or maybe $4000, I'm just waiting for this moment since I know that this Hard fork thingy is just a whale from the start, this have been an issue the last time, and it was just a trash, the same as of now.

I don't what will cause it to drop like that, to $1 but people will be in a hurry to buy as much as they can,because Bitcoin can always bounce back

The only thing that i believed that will happen after august 1 is the price of bitcoin will go the top of the moon because it is starting right now and going into the moon is not that hard for bitcoin and august 1 will be the biggest rocket fuel for the price of bitcoin. Well there's no doubt Bitcoin is headed for the moon and we hope it will grow further in value even after August 1, so that we will all profit from our investments. It's been coming and I pity those panic sellers who sold when it took a tumble about a week ago.

Well there are 2  current ways i think bitcoin might go after hard fork.

1. The price can grow super high and will probably break 3k super fast and Bitcoin will be constantly rising until to around 4K.
2. The hard fork doesn't go through, the price stays the same and more FUD gets spread. August one is forgotten
3. The hard fork ends in a fail, Bitcoin drastically drops to less than 2k.

Hope number 1 happens.

Think about something good after August 1 knows that bitcoin will have a more developed maturity, more people know and invest more, the price of bitcoin will also increase and the users Bitcoin will be beneficial.

Excited ?? Is that too soon? Currently, many people worry about that day. When this change is made, it is possible that  Bitcoin prices will fall which make people worried but also may Bitcoin prices will increase sharply when the number of blocks is expanded. So all the opinions in the present are probably too early
