Will Ethereum Trading also stop on August 1?

Only pairs with the Bitcoin combination will be suspended and the rest will continue being used as usual as there is no reason to have them suspended! Hope the ethereum network wont be congested during the bitcoin fork.Let us wait and see what happens

I dont think ethereum also stop in august 1 because ethereum and butcoin is difference and thats not affect if they have doubt in bitcoin in august 1 . Ethereum will increase for sure once bitcoin affected in august1 because many traders buy potential and ethereum they have so buy more ethereum instead of saying that ethereum also stop . We dont know what will happen in the crypto world on august1 but we hope for sure everything will be fine.

I dont think ether will stop trading may be it will increase the amount of transaction near august 1st and after one week . Ethere is already done with hard fork ETH and ETC evolved there is no point on stopping ether trading.

Waiting the decisive from exchange, maybe BTC and USDT pair will frozen, only Ethereum and Monero market can still trading normal (Poloniex exchange). I guess if this happens become true, the price of ETH and XMR will increasing more now

Most altcoins are traded off bitcoins, eth is no different. I expect a slow down in bitcoin spending come August first, to pick up later. For sure it will affect the volume of eth traded, but I dont think things will come to a full stop.

No, I think ETH price will increase because my local exchange people are suggesting us to convert to your Bitcoin into any other altcoin. So there is big chance for ETH to increase its price.

I strongly agree to this. ETH price have a high chance of going up as BTC will remain stagnant due to stop of its trading. But so does it might also remain stagnant also same as BTC and wait for the result of its update.

Only bitcoin transactions affected in Aug.1 and therefore Eth transactions will not affected since it uses different blockchain but of course eth-btc pair in exchanges will halt until aug2 or depends on what will happen after aug. 1

i think no , we all knew that etherium is the second place of the most expensive coins right? i think etherium will grow up high , they'll try to take advantage to bitcoin while their having problem and the btc will stay low , but the etherium is growing

With the happens in current, the user Bitcoin really need have knowledge about Desktop Wallet Bitcoin can keep private key or cold storage. I have some friends not have this knowledge and very panic when BTC-e in past day officially down.

This thread just is a guess in August 1st. Because if Bitcoin active SegWit2x and UAHF, Bitcoin pair and USDT pair will frozen for keep safe funds. So, Ethereum and Monero in that time are best choice for replace. But if whales want control the price on market, they will make exchange frozen ETH and XMR too.

Looks like you misunderstood about it, I think for the 1st of August it has no impact on any trade, because the intention of August 1 is just to clear any server that ever happened in the past, which I know you should not do Teransakisi on August 1 , If you make a transaction on 1 to 2 August your transaction will be lost.

Yes i think so, if you want to exchange altcoin don't exchange to bitcoin, it seems altcoin trading besides bitcoin still running, for example you can swap coin pillar to etherum vice versa, but if want to exchange with bitcoin you can do after process hardfork finished, it will be safe.

No it is only in Bitcoin the Ethereum is still gonna process smoothly and no effect in the process happening in bitcoin. The transactions and progress of bitcoin didnt have a effect in the other cryptocurrency process or transaction i guess it is just like what happened when the Litecoin segwit become a success.
