A WABI can solve China's fake? The key is to promote the use.

Exactly! Good technology is not enough here, it's important to get people (who are generally not that tech-savvy) to start using the technology. That's why we are starting with baby food segment. Mother really care about the safety of the food, especially after all of the scandals. And in smaller cities (like Jiaxing, Hefei, Jiaozuo etc) there are not many options to buy baby food and feel safe, unlike in Shanghai where you can go to an expensive City supermarket and can be reasonably sure what you are buying is not fake.

Getting mothers/fathers to use this on baby formula is only the first step. Next it would be to add other products/segments like alcohol and pharmaceuticals. And, because doing the project with baby food is profitable, it will give us enough momentum to raise funds (investors will love to see profitability in the baby food segment) and make it successful in other segments as well.

Below is a demonstration of system robustness in face of ‘label cloning’ attacks.
Scenario I:
Sophisticated attacker / Supply Chain NOT Compromised:
System response: geo-location data fails to match failing authentication
Scenario II:
Sophisticated attacker/ Supply Chain Compromised (counterfeiter is able
to place products in designated locations)*.
▪ If the product is not taken out of circulation: There is a timegap in cloning and placing the object
in circulation (which typically requires several days) and the next customer scanning the original
object (which in FMCG typically takes minutes) changing the pairing conditions thus prohibiting
authentication
▪ If the product is taken out of circulation: In order for it to make economic sense the counterfeiter
needs to either sell the fake object at a price premium to the original (which is a counter sense)
or create multiple copies of the object. However, scanning one such counterfeit product will
desynchronise the rest of the batch, thus invalidating any further matching attempts and
making the product unsalable.
