I think you do not have to worry about what happened on the 1st of August. In this forum has been much discussed about what happened on the 1st of August and what we should do with our bitcoin so we do not lose the bitcoin we have. I am a beginner in bitcoin world actually i am also afraid of losing my bitcoin. So I did what this forum suggested. Bitcoin can recover in any issues, if we got panic and sell our coins,for sure we will regret that move since after that bitcoin value can goes high again. Bitcoin having a lot of users and supporters can easily adjuat on any developmentsthat can help in btc

Personally, I believe that no one should worry about 1 Aug as nothing negative is going to happen on that day and hold their Bitcoins. This is my personal opinion and might be completely wrong, one should do his own research before taking any decision.

I sold at 2700 and bought again and I'd advice to sell again once we reach at 2800 and buy again.

Price won't remain steady at all. It will keep fluctuating even after several years but on a larger chart, the expected growth is very promising. One can buy in dips and sell when the price is back to the normal and other way is to hold it for the long term, in both the cases there is a profit in my opinion. (One should do his own research before taking any decision).

There should be no need to worry, if you are looking to get your share of the bitcoincash airdrop then all you need to do is have your coins in your own wallet that provides you with your private keys, bitcoin itself I don't think will take a big hit because of bitcoincash if anything it will just get stronger.

I think OP has very good experience in bitcoins.Its almost right.Bitcoin has survived many critical situations earlier like BU and now BCC.Even after the hard fork,it has performed very well and now its price is $2750.There would be lots of FUD about bitcoins.But we should not bother about such things and we should just turn a deaf ear to such things.

Well I think in current we can comeback the market and find altcoin still cheap price or waiting signal buying Bitcoin in next few days if have some correction price on market. In my opinion, the market in current has recovery the trend not neutral or only bearish as in July, we can try use technical analysic for prove that right!

Same here, except I am kicking myself for not looking more into Bitcoin Cash given that it seems to have been free money.

Still their is time to check the fork performance as it will need atleast 7 days to see that the chain is stable and their is not any split. But then also Bitcoin is always good choice

I can't agree you because bitcoin price changes very often and if suddenly we need money, there is a chanse that price will be lower than it was when we bought. From current situation it seems we can profit even if we buy it on lower price but imagine, when price was 1000$ (years ago) and someone bought it. Then prise decreased and it was needed more than 6 year to get profit.
