Anyone have any news on the Segwit2X going ahead Bitcoin Withdrawals to be halted at 6pm (SG Time) due to Segwit2x Fork
Dear User,
Kindly note that we will be halting all withdrawals of Bitcoin at 6pm (Singapore Time) today, 17th November 2017.
If you wish to move any Bitcoin, kindly do so before the stated time.
Why is Coinhako halting withdrawals?
A group of miners have decided to go ahead with the Segwit2x and Bitcoin will be faced with another fork at block 494784.
This is estimated to occur at 10pm to 12am (Singapore Time), 17th November 2017. Coinbase : https://blog.coinbase.com/bitcoin-segwit2x-update-b69a1c1e5eceLast week, the Segwit2x development team announced they would no longer continue with the project.
In addition, a significant portion of miners and other community leaders withdrew their support for the fork.
However, despite these developments, a small number of miners may attempt to go forward with a fork. Not Safe to move Core's Bitcoin Around today unless you do it way before the forked block. Then prepare for it to be frozen for a few hours , until a winner is decided. Bitcoin Cash as usual is safe to use all day.  |

You don't , There is only 1 Bitcoin Cash with the updated DAA. Bitcoin cash is the store of transaction, if bitcoin claims to be the store of value. BCH is much faster and stable on network. I think it will surpass ETH's market cap again.

Was about to post this - it's a shocking statistic! People correctly pointed out that you can create a transaction with multiple inputs, effectively "unfreezing" the balances, but then your transaction gets bigger and it's time for a bigger fee... somebody estimated that 25% of UTXOs are "underwater", ie. unable to be spent because the fee is higher than the total amount. LOL somebody asked "Why are u even using Bitcoin"? Classic Kore-troll response. The retort: "I won't be much longer, I'm running out of time to cash out"... |

This is the exact reason BTC has a whole 2 week difficulty adjust and not some short quick if no hashing is available downward adjust
The EDA was designed to stop the bcash chain dying and now it's being used against it because now the EDA is allowing the old chain to be mineable on lesser hardware and being used to attack9
Im not sure on the legibility but there was talks that the EDA could actually cause a chain reorg where the SPV wallets could start following this EDA chain over the DAA one
OK lemme get this straight, a fork that is 100 blocks behind the main chain is a threat how? And someone is going to replay transactions on this sh!tchain and anyone will care? That chain is not a coin, it's worthless! I really hope you're not losing too much sleep about that. Or, maybe you should convince an exchange to list that defunct chain? Also how is your Bitcoin Gold investment faring? I tried to tell you to GTFO before the dump. Looks like Vitalik got some death threats? Or he just can't take anymore whining... Btc and its siblings destroying the hard work of nieces Alts Coins, B2X also crazy, heard small portion of minners go ahead with fork? Hahhh! Tired of Grand pa BTC Forkrings Market Manipulation! Wondering how long this will go on for, i mean is this how is gonna be moving forward or there will be an end to this constant fork we face in btc network? I am guessing there will be correction soon, will it go below 7k to 6k? |
