This time realy sure that Im holding BTC!! Im exited about next year already  please dont tell me you bought btc at over 6000$ and planning to hold ?  It seems someone already lost in the bitcoin this time, bitcoin gets a little correction again and the price already below 6k again. And i will be expecting the more dump after hardfork and i will buy as much as i can. Same. I agree with that. All of you make me laugh holding bitcoin on $6000 value it was not a good idea it's better to sell or convert it into cash because when hardfork comes I'm sure that bitcoin and some altcoins are declining into deep. Maybe the better we can do is to sell now and buy more after segwit, because I'm pretty sure that all coins are fall down their price. |

I think the best thing to do when we're undecided is to invest in Ethereum. Bitcoin is not a good fit for investment in these times

As of now the price of bitcoin is 6000 dollars and Im very happy for that and I hope the price will continue to increase so we can make a lot of profit in the future. But if you want to invest in altcoin the best answer for that is the waves coin and fro sure if you have you will earn a lot of profit because possible become 100 dollars the price in the next few years.

Bitcoin is indeed the king if that's right term to use. It will always a head of altcoins and it will always have the highest price but if you are interested in faster profit you need to trade alt coins as well.

Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency that dominates the crypto world and I don't see any competition to it from altcoins as those coins are too small in compare to bitcoins and bitcoin will give you best profits in long term but if you are looking for short term profits then investing in good altcoins is the right decision.

In less than a decade? Your kidding right that seems like a very high estimate to me. I think the overall market could reach 1 trillion dollars in 2018 and bitcoin could reach 1 trillion itself as early as 2019. Bitcoin is king tho |

Yes I do agree with you OP, if you can't think of yet what to invest or you dno't know which coin to invest because you don't have time to read the roadmaps and projects of the coin then Bitcoin would be the answer. It is the best cryptocurrency to invest anytime of the year.

From the other hand it depends on your investment amount,time you want to wait and how risky you are .If btc for example will x2 next year.You will invest 1 million,your a winner.1k ,you will get 2k.Other coins can make x10 in few month even if you just gamble by listening to other peoples opinion

Because the price is really high and that will so bad if there will be a flash crash in the market due to the bitcoin hype already ended and that looks some people are holding the bitcoin already planned to do a flash sell after they are getting their bitcoin gold. |

many people this now afraid if hardfork and segwit bitcoin can crash, and split chain
if bitcoin trouble and problem about hardfork, some day anther altcoin can replace bitcoin position

Yeah that may be happen and many are speculating that after harf fork there will be some small correction in the price so if there will people will sell their bitcoin it will be definitely a dumping price. And if that happens many will still hold their coins and wait for new ATH and that could be before this year ends. |

That's only just my opinion, not a legal advice though
Each hardfork potentially eliminates bitcoin value, this potential may be 50%, but if the system upgrade is successful then bitcoin will continue to refine itself and draw more trust from the merchants. Bitcoin will remain king as long as no altcoin component dominates the market singly. Even this has not happened in ethereum. |

FBI holds like 200000 bitcoins. At this growth rate they will sooner or later be able to pay off the entire american national debt with those coins. That would dip bitcoin nicely.

Investing on Bitcoin is the best think to do if you cant decide on what else to buy. I think bitcoin will be trillion dollars market cap in less than a decade. Any opinion?  ? Yes, bitcoin is the King! For now, i can't find any alts that can replace bitcoin. I find investment as my first priority when i have some extra income in my online jobs. |

Btc will be like gold, and alts (only the good ones) will be like usd, yen, eur...
But in general, we are way less than 1% btc adoption worldwide, so there is A LOT space to grow.
