Coin Specifications

Specification   Value

Algorithm - Scrypt

Type - PoW/PoS

Block Spacing   - 64 seconds

Coin Limit - 100 Million

Difficulty Retarget - Every block

Block Reward Details - 500,000 blocks

Block Reward - 50 DTC

Stake Reward   - 9% per annum

DivotyCoin is a PoS-based cryptocurrency. The world's unique Crowdfunding Community-driven cryptocurrency. DivotyCoin can handle a higher volume of transactions thanks to its faster block generation. If Bitcoin were to try to match this, it would require significant updates to the code that everyone on the Bitcoin network is currently running.

A merchant who waited for a minimum of two confirmations would only need to wait 128 seconds, whereas they would have to wait 10 minutes for just one confirmation with Bitcoin.

The key difference for end-users is the speed a transaction is validated. DivotyCoin requires only 64 seconds to generate a block, as opposed to Bitcoin's 10 minutes.

You can addnode=divoty.org in your divotycoin.conf file. However, we're over 60,000 blocks behind.. Someone has mined this for a while before releasing it to the public. You do the math on how many coins that is.

So there was an 11.5 million coin pre-mine?

something is not right here, I'm solo mining wallet/synced with more hashes than network, and I'm not getting any blocks>??
how can there be in wallet debug window total supply " "moneysupply" : 11501850.70368462    }}}11million
when we are only upto block at time of writing this at block height = 61229   with each block reward at 50units (coins) = 3,061,450
I can really say this F%^& you is the magic word
edit/: show me block explorer "proof of work" 11 million coins  , no wonder the block explorer isn't working

ok this is how to sync your wallet
open cmd
type    ping divoty.org
then in conf file you might have to create one if haven't already tried solo/mining
addnode={{enter the ip address without :port}}
restart wallet let it sync then in debug window enter getmininginfo  bla bla bla bla
make sure you have -server in short/cut

Literally just a few posts above you.. I can't believe people are still trying to mine this with a hidden 11 million coin premine. The only 2 coins that aren't ICO's that were released tonight have both been millions or literally BILLIONS(70% premine) in the case of the Starcoin that was just released.. What's with all this crap?

Even though it seems a bit sketchy in the launch at least this is not an ICO and is something for the old school miners.

Sorry to say this, but I don't think that a simple clone of another currency with slightly variating parameters will be successful. Why not think of something unique for your coin (sorry, community driven isn't imo), have some more effort on the op and it might be going well.

You need to put way more effort in if you want someone to be interested on your coin.
