I know a bit about mining but Nodes are new to me. Do you need 1 VPS for every node? So If i Had 84 coins Would I need 2x5= 10$ a month for VPS's?
Can I run nodes from my mining PC?

I hope so, I don't think to ask each node have a separate IP is a reasonable demand. There's no way I'm going to set up 10 different nodes on 10 different VPS.

OFC you need diffrent IP for every node, its not a pool where you can run diffrent workers from on IP.

If I look at the chart I am very bullish on ZEN now. People have started to know about this coin and about the fact that it is an improvement of previous coins it is derived from. Just like Homo Sapiens vs Neanderthal

Please, reconsider it! Make it at least 65 / 25 .. and all the miners will be happy too, cause they will mine an expensive currency..

P.S Those calculator screenshots are wrong. Rise the "Number of Security Nodes" until you get "Annual ROI in ZEN" around 10-15% and you'll get the correct picture..

It really does seem like secure node operators are expected to run them for little profits,for it to be successful nodes need to be rewarded appropriately since there value to the network is big so should the rewards,as it stands node operators will get scraps compared to the value they add,if later down the road zen is worth hundreds of dollars the rewards could be looked at again but for that sort of prices we are probably couple years away,up the amount of zen needed to run a secure node to 100 zen and better reward Zen nodes

For those who aren't already on Slack and would like to see the payout change, please join and voice your're concerns. You may have a very good point and the founders have said it is all subject to change. They do listen and welcome all feedback.

You have good point, but nobody says this won't be subject of discussions when nodes become ready, and tests ended successfully. This team is proud with its transparency and every suggestion will be taken in consideration. We are open for all suggestions, especially if they are with good references, and explanations.
My thoughts are similar, and as person interested in node setup, I will vote for increasing reward for sure. I would like to see increasing of this reward with increasing of number of a nodes. We must find perfect balance with the miners, this is main problem.
I would like to see system where this prize is automatically retargeted and increased with changing of number of total nodes this can protect small node owners and miners from whales and manipulations.

Guys, as part of usability and market acceptance of zencash have you reached out to private internet access vpn service? As the biggest vpn provider in the market they already accept zcash so it could be a good one to lobby. I sent them a request anyway so if they keep getting peppered with requests they might come around
