We're starting to get merchants to accept ZenCash now that we're integrated into CoinPayments.net. Any merchant that you know that uses their service to accept cryptocurrencies, please reach out and tell them how awesome this community is and why they should start accepting ZEN!

Adding TorGuard to our privacy ecosystem is an awesome step forward...

Hi everyone, my name is Neil and I am working with ZenCash to communicate with the community. I'll be active on this thread, as well as Reddit, and just around social media in this space generally.

My role I suppose is really to try to keep you in the light and make sure information is communicated to you quickly and seamlessly, and ensure that we respect and honour your financial and other investments in  ZenCash and the Zen community.

Fairly good news just out from the blog about TorGuard.

Agreed, we certainly want to stay in sync with upstream developments in ZEC tech. Those guys are awesome and have some of the best researchers in the world.
There is nothing wrong in using existing wheel, if you give efforts to improve it's characteristic and possibilities. How many of you remember which model of car was the first? We must look at the future and took a participation in its creating.
Tomorrow our developers will be called best and their work will be used for some other projects..

More secure network, nodes will provide additional layer of protection. And they will be profitable for node owners. All this with - in wallet messaging, and publishing ability will be something completely new.
Will there be anymore ZenCash promotion or bounties?
In the future probably yes. But we are currently very busy with testing nodes, and all our strength and money are focused toward this main goal.

For everyone asking about Secure Nodes timing, please see the latest video update on the forum https://blog.zensystem.io/zencash-livestream-recording-from-sept-13-2017/ .

Rob discusses Secure Nodes and a number of other developments. Regarding Secure Nodes there is an upcoming beta round. So just to manage expectations I would not suggest people expect the final product to be ready imminently. But be patient, Secure Nodes were planned for Zen from the start in the initial Whitepaper, and as far as I know no one has implemented such a system in any coin.

Also in that update, Rob let us know how quickly the mobile wallet development has come along and there's now a mobile wallet currently in testing.

Question regarding the swing wallet...

How come sometimes when making transactions the swing wallet will automatically create a new wallet address and move some Zen into it?

Thanks

Use this calculator. Number of nodes on network is only questionable, but we estimate it will be over 1000 for sure.

ZenCash is improved BTC version with Z transactions and other features. In core this is BTC blockchain with additional layers of security so inherits this feature from BTC.

Quote
Once your public address receives an incoming payment, a new address will automatically be generated and display when you click on receive.

If you use the same address each time you receive funds, it becomes easy for anyone to track your entire payment history. This method of address generation improves privacy by automatically presenting you with a new address when you’re expecting payment.

Definitely Swing wallet it is more stable, and I'm using it also.

Also I must recommend https://myzenwallet.io it is much faster for use, you do not need to wait for syncking of wallet.
I' using this wallet for campaigns.

Hello, there will be particular hardware requirements for running a secure node, as far as it is known?
