If I setup a masternode How many coins can I expect a month? Is there a calculator?
3.5% of the mining reward goes to the owners of ZenCash Secure Node which meet the requirements.
We can only estimate how many nodes will be setted so we cannot give precise number.

Please take a look at this post.

You can build one now.  You can get it on the testnet now to verify everything will be working when it's time to switch to mainnet.  You can even run it on mainnet right now if you want, but there's no public tracker system yet, so no payouts.

The Payouts is the question, when everything is finished. Pointless to build one now in reality.

this pool is shit don't use it

Exact same result here, mined for 24 hours and got 1/2 the amount of ZEN as on Suprnova - and that was at a slightly higher difficulty  Shocked

I've been following Zen for a while now, I love the clear-cut vision and regular updates! I am looking forward to testing out secure nodes and the Arizen wallet.

Just wanted to give you all an update on secure nodes.

The beta/production server cluster is operating and being tuned to enable scaling for larger load.

@devman is updating code and testing on the new system. It is a bit more complex to have multiple front end and backend servers, and any changes require testing and fixes.

@cronic is working on clustering, failover, backups, and security of the system.

There is active progress being made every day. From what I can estimate, it looks like we should be in beta on the new system on testnet before Monday next week.

The basic requirements of Secure Nodes are:

Maintain a minimum of 42 ZEN in transparent address per node. Demonstrates the operator cares enough about ZenCash to own some.
Create and maintain a valid TLS certificate from a known Certificate Authority. This enabled encrypted data transport.
Run the node on a server with enough processor and memory so that it can meet a computational challenge. This protects against DDoS attacks.
Maintain a full copy of the ZenCash blockchain. This makes sure no UTXO’s  or commitments are lost.
Keep the node up and running at least 92% of the time.
3.5% of the ZenCash mining reward is distributed to all Secure Nodes which meet the requirements during each pay period.

It actually take a bit of work to get one setup.  There are plenty of pitfalls to work through, not the least being getting a VPS that's got enough resources, but doesn't cost a fortune.  It's a great learning experience, so it's good to be ready when it's time to switch to mainnet.

Can you point me to a source describing what changes will need to be made on my securenode in order to switch from the alpha to the beta, if any?

Secure Nodes will be something completely new and unique, it will add additional layer of protection.
