There was a calculator on this site http://zen.lebre.net/, but i doesn't work anymore.

And even when it did work it showed insane numbers, if i put 1 secure nod, price od zen = 20$ and price of VPS =5$, it would say that i wil earn 741 zencash tokens or some other ridiculous number.

So the question is if i have one secure node when they start to function how much zencash would i get per month?

The number of nodes you're supposed to input is an estimation of all nodes that will be online.

No it doesn't work. And this answer mens nothing to me. Would you humor me and run the calculator(if it work) and simulate that you have 1 node, you pay 5$ VPS , and price od zen is 21$, how much zen would you get per month?

How this number (7560 ZEN) is going to be shared depends on how many nodes will be set up. Each node if qualified, will get equal share.

- Monthly cost per VPS is approximately 5$ per node.

It will be nice to buy a few ZENS for the portfolio.I am looking into it. CAN ANYONE TELL me for example how ZEN is comparable to other privacy coins and why I should buy ZEN? I would like to own at least one privacy coin in my portfolio so what do you think ZENCASH has that is better than the rest? I am just looking at a healthy entry point to buy in as it has been recently pumped so want to wait a little while. I am thinking to buy between 200-400 ZEN as a long term bag hold.

We are in Beta testing and there are more than 500 nodes. Expect at least 10x more on mainnet.

So lets say there are 1000 nodes and I have I secure node. I will receive 7,560 zen cash per month that is calculated in today prices = 160 $, if the number of node rise to 2000 i will receive 3,78 zen per node. Now to receive equal amount of USD(160) as previous month the zen price would have to be 42 $ which is double or even more if i want to receive more.

Now it that happens zencash will probably get in top 20 or top 30 on cryptocurrency market cap. Is this realistic to happen.

Or better question yet do you have any idea or prediction how much secure nodes will there be when they will be put in action?

42 coins are needed as a stake for nodes. 1000 nodes will lock 42000 coins immediately. Right now we have 205300 coins on Bittrex orders.

When nodes becomes profitable after testing, they will become more interesting, and number of nodes will increase significantly.

With greater demand, price will increase this is basic rule of market.

Really good thing is that 42 coins are cheap in comparison with other master nodes which require at least couple of thousands of dollars for a start if not more.

The problem that i found with this coin is that i can't understand it very well. Website is not beginner-friendly at all. From the ANN the same.
Of course being a privacy focused coin, etc, etc it's pretty complex and all, but i'm sure you can't grow if people don't understand the project. Anyway, good luck guys.

Earnings
An earning period is based upon block time. It is the amount of time between 576 blocks which is approximately 24 hours. When an earning period ends each active node is checked and any node with exceptions or downtime causing the node to be available less than 92% of the earning period is excluded from the earnings pool. A node with greater than 92% availability but with some downtime or exceptions will have the amount of time subtracted from their allocation. These small subtractions help offset the fees incurred with making the payments.

A payment administrator on a weekly basis reviews the earnings to ensure they were generated correctly and marks them to be paid.

Coins are then transferred to a payment address and the payment is made. No funds are stored on the server. This process may be automated at a later time.

yes it works fine and you would get 15.12 zen with 500 nodes (currently on beta).
