I've been gambling for almost 10 years now, I used to be an addict to poker and other card games but now I do gamble Occasionally. Normally, If others heard about gambling they'll probably be saying bad things about it *which is a fact*. Though, based from my own experiences. Gambling do benefits me in a way, especially Mentally and Emotionally. Mentally, As a teenager who started to gamble at the age of 15. I don't care about losing, I don't value money. But as I grow, Gambling did really change my perspective towards money and decision making. I became more mature and I must say that I did enhance my strategic awareness. Emotionally, I must say that gambling did really control my temper. I don't why, but whenever I play poker my state of mind became so calm. Even after I lose or win I'm calm and happy. At the age of 19, I learn how to control myself. Mistakes are part of our life which really is good set back for a good comeback!.

How about you guys? What are the benefits you get from Gambling?

The benefits the we can get from gambling is of course, moneeey and financial help, when we are addicted to gambling we used to bet and raise higher amounts of money, in this way we can gain more money (if we won) and because of it, we can have lots of money. Also, we can have different friends and buddies, we will know many people throughout the night/day we are gambling of course later on we can be friends with them and they can also help us in different ways.

The only benefits that i get from gambling is having new friends and gambling taking up too much of my free time which is good. The money that i won from gambling is just a bonus for me and i really don't care if i won or lose because i only gamble small amount of money now compared before when i don't have control over myself whenever i gamble.

Great! but don't be over confident because you might get back again in so many reasins there are big chance of going back to when you are a gambler before. Because too much is also bad and if you do it everyday.

I don't usually talk much about winning because I usually lose more than I win so if I will try to evaluate my performance I am sure I am not good in gambling, controlling is really important because that would help you to stay safe while you can still keep the fun in gambling. As long as we risk money to make money, even if it is fun we cannot underestimate the risk because it might ruin our life.

For me it depends upon the kind of gambling because some gambling like cockfighting can take away your stress and it can give fun and if your lucky that your bet is winning then you can earn money. gambling is fun as long as you put a limit on it. dont gamble beyond your money limit.

I agree to that. Basically gbling is for responsible people who understands risks and knows how to control themselves. For people who are having troubles with these, better to keep your hands out of gambling to avoid trouble

you can fill up your spare time by another better things rather than gambling.

the benefit from gambling itself almost nothing there , just the bad and bad things come after you. making gamble as your fun way to spend your time mostly always ended up with addiction , i will never fall to that again , i have learned a lot .

many of us is getting stress when we can not win the games but we still playing gambling although we know the risk of losing money. and no matter hard we learn in gambling, if we can control our emotion, we can enjoy the games. I think the benefits from gambling is we should enjoy the games first no matter what is the result and once we realize that we can not win, its better to quit from gambling and we can try it later.

That absolutely should drive him out indeed. The truth is not everyone is cut out emotionally for gambling and that is basically because of how they perceived it in the first place (make some money). The earlier one finds out that gambling is basic fun and not  a means of earning, the better. And like you said, since Lecsor could not see it as fun, the best decision is to not even get involved.

Yes that is fact that most of the people cannot get any benefit from gambling. but still there are some people who still have good luck and can also make good profit from gambling.

There are none, it is simply entertainment. If you approach it with this attitude, you may get lucky sometimes, if you go in hoping to come out wealthy, you will lose.

Anyone who goes into gambling hoping to benefit by being wealthy and not just for fun will not only loose all they have like you said but they will also end up loosing themselves at the long run. I personally do not see any way gambling benefits anyone.

Except for luck that makes some people win sometimes which does not shine in often, gambling is more like wasting of time and resources unless of course you just want to have fun which the last time I checked, there are so many awesome ways to have fun than that.

There is a benefit but only if you are going to gamble but if not there's no other benefit that you can get in gambling. Also another thing is if you are an investor to their bankroll that's one of the benefit that you can get in gambling otherwise you are just gambling and you can't really get good enough benefits with it. Because the only advantage you can get there is when you are winning.

From the money point of view, gambling can give no benefits. Other than that, it depends upon individual how he will perceive the outcomes of gambling. It does not give any profits or lessons but a person with wisdom will take out something beneficial under all situation. When a person faces loss, he can either say or stand up. It is his decision. If someone gets control over his emotions, it is not gambling but his own skill.
