I've been gambling for almost 10 years now, I used to be an addict to poker and other card games but now I do gamble Occasionally. Normally, If others heard about gambling they'll probably be saying bad things about it *which is a fact*. Though, based from my own experiences. Gambling do benefits me in a way, especially Mentally and Emotionally. Mentally, As a teenager who started to gamble at the age of 15. I don't care about losing, I don't value money. But as I grow, Gambling did really change my perspective towards money and decision making. I became more mature and I must say that I did enhance my strategic awareness. Emotionally, I must say that gambling did really control my temper. I don't why, but whenever I play poker my state of mind became so calm. Even after I lose or win I'm calm and happy. At the age of 19, I learn how to control myself. Mistakes are part of our life which really is good set back for a good comeback!.

How about you guys? What are the benefits you get from Gambling?

What you are telling is happens only 1 or 2 persons out of 10 gamblers, because when ever someone gamble in the starting it goes smoothly but when the loss become more then their it start the change of attitude in the gambler. I also when ever lose in gambling i become anger and it clearly affects in my behavior towards others and when i am winning i become more caring. That is why is stopped gambling and now living happily.

I agree when you get to lose more money than you win, fear gets to you, your mental and emotional well being change and in one's attitude becomes aggressive towards others as they want to blame it on someone else.
One lesson I can relate with the OP is being aware of the value of money because you get to understand that money is scarce and does not grow from trees  hence you tend to grow into a responsible gambler

I don't think there are many benefits from gambling. Most of the time we lose some money and in the worst cases, you become addicted and it has a huge negative affect on you life.

The only two situations I can think of where it has a benefit is if it is a source of entertainment without costing you much or if you happen to be so skilled at a game like poker that you can actually make money at it.

Regardless of strategy in betting or types of games you bet on, if it is a game of chance, you will always lose in the long run. There's no way to win since the house takes a profit from games like roulette and dice. You may get on a lucky streak for a while but is won't last. The benefit to gambling is for the owners and operators of the gambling sites because they will always come out ahead. If they weren't making money, then they would not run the gambling site.

i think there could be a two option ny playing gambling when you don't want to lose and be addicted into it maybe try to avoid okaying too much or playing thatlong once people doubled there bitcoins maybe thats the sign to withdraw i manage to olay several times or casual thats is why i manage to get my lost back and earn some profit my net profit now is positive this gambling helps me to have a money to spend monthly of ourse i need it

I agree, there is really nothing  beneficial from gambling unless you are the casino, you invest in the casino, or you win in the casino. That is the problem with gambling, if you win then you come back again. But when you lose, you get addicted and try your luck at chasing your losses. At its end you will see that you just lost all your money from gambling.

   That is also one thing I thought about. Temporary entertainment is only a part of the game but as it goes deeper, you are slowly caught by the game and even sometimes you will lose not only your money but also your self control.

True. That is the reason we could never expect material benefits from gambling. Because even we do get chances to make profits from gambling, we will definitely lose in the same manner. Because easy money are getting spent easily. Instead of making money from gambling and then losing it with the same gambling, we should never expect profits from gambling as a benefit.

But other than material benefits we can expect anything from gambling like entertaining ourselves/killing boredom/finding precious time with our friends. Because these are all highly possible benefits, anyone can get from gambling.

Yeah, sure it is my luck but i want to tell that we could earn money in gambling in a short time. But it is only when our luck give us chance to win a bet. But i want to explain that i spend my 0.2 winning money in a whole month, i never use and waste it in a second. Because i know the gambling rules.

with gambling, i think we can learning about how to control our emotion while we are playing the games. i know it is difficult to control the emotion but if we are trying more and more, i think we can controlled with easy and we can learn another lesson from gambling which is being greedy in gambling games.
