I can get sgminer-5.6.1-nicehash-51-windows-amd64 to work but just gives

[23:44:11] 107.161.95.108 difficulty changed to 0.250
[23:44:32] Rejected ba124b15 Diff 1.376/0.250 GPU 0  (Invalid share)
[23:45:01] Rejected 235f941d Diff 7.237/0.250 GPU 0  (Invalid share)
[23:45:02] Rejected f86701b3 Diff 1.031/0.250 GPU 0  (Invalid share)

The sgminer_build_HMQ1725 from your site wont use the blake2 algorithm at all no matter what I do.. ?

Only the cpuminer-hmq1725-win64 works..  any help getting my RX 580 Mining this..  thanks..

Fixing now Smiley I am new to the blake2s algo and was unsure of a suitable base difficulty, and as such I left it at its default. This would cause to low diff shares for GPU's and anything bigger then a cpu. Give it about 10-20 minutes and please try again Smiley Note during this change pool will be spotty.

<edit>
As far as I can find there is no available AMD miner for this algo yet. So mining with your RX580 is currently not supported. If you have NVIDIA you should be fine to mine.
I understand and sympathize however as I run 280x's and have run into this same issue.
[/quote]

It might be the miner software because my 1060 doesn't work with sgminer on blake2 ether.. but it does using ccminer. going to try some other miners later. btw isnt decred the same algorithm?
[/quote]
I am currently at my day job, but just wanted to check in and see if youve gotten the 1080 to run correctly using our pool. As I say, blake2s is a new algo to me so I am doing my best to get things running cleanly as quickly as possible Smiley

yes all Nvidia cards work fine... CPU is a little slow but is working.. (7700k),  tried several different versions and miners that support AMD and Blake2 but none give me constant accepted shares.. Not sure what the problem is with the settings or diff but I do get the odd  accepted share out of 10 Invalid shares on my RX 580.. so there is hope!

I tried other pools with the same software and blake2 on my RX but even they gave me the Invalid shares, so its not your pool.

You can use different difficulties at https://hexpool.com very easily.

Use c=BLAS,d=<DIFFICULTY> as your password, e.g. c=BLAS,d=4

See below for an example from Nicehash:

http://picpaste.de/pics/Untitled-kDKhXDxX.1501610107.png

Example for command line option:

Code:
-a blake2s -o stratum+tcp://hexpool.com:5766 -u WALLET -p c=BLAS,d=4

Ok, I am sorry your having that issue, but glad we have determined the pool is not the issue Smiley
Should you experience any other issue, please feel free to PM me or post here

Still nothing from the POS side.
What is necessary to make the staking take effect? My 'weight' was displaying 25% of the network this morning and not a single transaction from staking.
Hit 10 blocks overnight and have 26 peers, green check, green arrow. All funds in 'spendable', cannot figure out how to move to 'Stake' or what step is missing.
Moved to account0 to check, no change.
Really would like to see a good hybrid coin..

Hey Cryptostiltskin,
 That was a real hot headed move. Perhaps you should read before you act. That was a warning to potential victims. I work alone! Angry

You can use different difficulties at https://hexpool.com very easily.

Use c=BLAS,d=<DIFFICULTY> as your password, e.g. c=BLAS,d=4

See below for an example from Nicehash:

http://picpaste.de/pics/Untitled-kDKhXDxX.1501610107.png

Example for command line option:

Code:
-a blake2s -o stratum+tcp://hexpool.com:5766 -u WALLET -p c=BLAS,d=4

I have this mistake all the times, someone can help me ?
Will really appreciate it Sad

[2017-08-02 16:53:50] Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to 107.161.95.108 port 5766: Timed out
[2017-08-02 16:53:50] ...retry after 10 seconds

Seems like your firewall or something is blocking the connection to hexpool.com on Port 5766.

Port is definitely open as you can see we still have some miners mining: https://hexpool.com/site/mining

Good to see some activity already!

Soon the new logo will be active on CoinExchange.

Nova exchange submission will come soon.

Hey this looks and sounds great! Good job so far. Would like to be a part of this, just started mining, and am getting myself a chunk of this coin.
How can I help? Looking at the road map, I'd be happy to help out in the Social Media/Community building area.
Let me know!

Cannot get staking to work.
Mining works fine, rolling in blocks. No stake rewards in over 12 hours of mining.
Green 'up arrow' states 18 minutes for stake rewards.
Is there an extra step necessary to get staking to function?

Console readout:
getstakinginfo
{
"enabled" : true,
"staking" : true,
"errors" : "",
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"pooledtx" : 0,

"weight" : 767999999800,
"netstakeweight" : 6657643304261,
"expectedtime" : 1040
}

BlakeStar.conf:

Unfortunately, same here. I've posted info about this issue several days ago, still no response  Sad
