I think it will happen or it can't be happen. But that would depend in the community of bitcoin, if they want bitcoin to be like that in december for sure at the present time now many are buying and keeping their bitcoin or hold it in a long term because of this things.

$5000 would be a heck of a price, i mean it is probably possible but not going to be very likely in my opinion.

Maybe if bitcoin cash fork wasn't activated, because right now the value of a bitcoin pre-fork is actually split between bitcoin cash and bitcoin. When SW gets locked in then i would think that the price of each bitcoin will rise above $3000 each, but probably not as extreme as $5000.

I'm by no means saying that it is not possible, i'm saying that it is probably not going to happen. There is a slight chance that it could happen. But we've already come a long way, and to me i don't think that we'll see any more major money pouring into bitcoin from an investment for another few years.

Of course as a bitcoin holder i would love it to happen too...

As people have invested there amount of money they have done a right job because it is increasing which can make them better off so I would like to say that these people are lucky to be a part of bitcoin as you said that people will see major change then yes they will see the major changes in which they will see the bright future because they have invested their money in a right place.

I don't see that until the end of the year the price of bitcoin could reach $ 5,000. The processes that occur with bitcoins in August, can not affect the trust. Investments can go into altcoins. I'd be happy if the price by the end of the year will reach $ 3,500.

If that happens also that would be trademark move from the bitcoin. People will be buy more bitcoin from traders and bitcoin will not stagnated in one place. Hence, price movement and increase adoption will pass higher percentage. I expect bitcoin to touch 5000$ in coming december.

People used to buy. Now buying and will buying because as we saw after 1 August everything changed once again like we say that game turn over from hater once again because they were rising voice against bitcoin will miners were keep silent but on 1 August the prices goes stable and reach to $2700 above so the bitcoin turn over and hit a lot records.

I won't be surprised if bitcoin price move up to 5000 dollar. After August 1 there is no reason to not hold bitcoin. Most of people who know and deal with bitcoin want to hold bitcoin. So the high demand and low supply will cause the pice to increase very much ( even more than 5000 dollar )

Too early for now to assume that we'll be heading $5,000 soon. I don't think we are going to reach 5k very soon, it's not even becoming stable at $3k. We but I'm loving the slow movement of bitcoin's price today. This gives me more assurance that we are on the safe ride today and possible there will be no more crash.

It will be happen because as people are showing investment to bitcoin so I would like to say that it will reach soon so trust me it will reach 5000$ USD soon in the ending of the year so keep invest and keep believe because bitcoin is depended on people investing and trading so if people goes with bitcoin then bitcoin will rise like that.

5000$ is a big number to predict in a short period of time but from 1000$ -3100$ it is never impossible. Bitcoin always surprise us on how it's value increases in time to time. So the only thing we should is trust and have faith in Bitcoin because even it crashes for few times it will always bounce back even higher.

So we've saw that the price was already stepping on $3k and even adds some $100 on it. I will be convinced if we will $3,000 for months and if it was able to reach $4,000 before this month ends probably that $5,000 is about to be seen on ber months and can be stable at the end of year. $6000 even possible as well because as people talking about 1 August that there will be a huge change then right there will be huge change which can change the people lives. Because it will directly reach to $3500 above so I would say that $6000 even more possible as well. Today I will go to buy some bitcoin that I will be rich buy end of  August. It's not going to go to $6000 that soon, first it has to pass $4000 and this is going to be a test. Even bigger than $3000 was.
It's like climbing a slope, the higher you are the more cold and windy it gets and it's harder to climb. $4000 is going to be hard and $5000 even harder. We won't get past this for another year!

I believe it won't go down that easy and will continue to trade for 0.05 to 0.1 BTC for a while. There are many altcoins worth much more than this one, it still have a potential to join them as a speculative asset.

It was rumors which was created by people there were just implementation means bitcoin was upgrading and it is already upgraded now the confirmation speeds goes very speedily and people are happy by that as you mentioned 2500 then now a days it is above 2800 because it has gain a lot of strategies which is quite great for bitcoin.

Everyone assume bitcoin price at the end of this year according to their own approach/ knowledge. I see that some people expect bitcoin price up to 5000$ at the end of this year, but I don’t understand that bitcoin price is now 3400$  and it is August and in the remaining months they expect only 1600$ increase, despite they have seen in the past the speed of increase in the price of bitcoin.

Lol this is insane bitcoin price has the a great future and potential to become that price but not in the year of 2018 maybe it will took many years before it will become more that we cna oredict it but its really impossible if bitcoin price will become in demand and company will accept bitcoin as there business then maybe demand will be increase.
