no they don't have hacked. i think people just visit wrong site and people follow emails. enigma website is safe. everything is safe.. just people sent money to wrong person on wrong site and following pushing email.

As much as $500,000 in ether has been stolen from supporters of the Enigma blockchain project following a security compromise.

According to a statement from the Enigma team, those involved in the thefts were able to take control of the project’s website domain, one of the administrator accounts on its Slack channel and its mailing lists. Once in control, according to reports on social media, those involved began masquerading as the official team and distributing solicitations for an initial coin offering "presale."

I hope people will not loose lot of money being victim of this recent scam attempt although still lot of money has been stolen according to different reports and estimations circulating on social media right now. So sad to see increasing number of such pishing attempts more and more in every crowdfunding for quite sometime.

With the rate at which phishing and scam attacks are hitting the Blockchain space, I'm beginning to think there is more to it. 4-5 months ago, Phishing attacks weren't a thing. It seems to be more targeted at startups hosting their ICOs.

Too bad this happened project looks promising, looking at the damage it's quite obvious that the team will have a hard time getting everything back to normal again. I wonder what will happen to those people who got their money taken will there be refunds??

The Enigma Catalyst team is currently working on resolving these issues. Yes, the turkish co-founder Can Kisagun wrote this and was hacked himself. İ hope that the enigma team finds a solution and gives everyone his contribution in a way back. They lost much trust and need to fix this.

Oh my God. Same passwords. In the crypto space, one must be extra diligent than normal to pratice accepted ways to enhance personal security. Especially in crypto there are many scammers lurking around and finding ways to exploit it until it's late.

This is very huge that is same incident which happened with Coindash in that case domain name is got hacked same like that so both have similarity in that attack. æternity had different attack due buggy smart contract. Maybe these hackers are same who stole funds from CDT.

His email, according to reports, had been dumped on the internet in the past due to other services being compromised. After these occurrences, Zyskind reportedly never changes his password, and no two-factor authentication was enabled.

Why doesn't someone sue that guy and let FBI handle the case to find the hackers ? Looks like a classic scam where the founders are pretending to get hacked while they're spending time in Miami's beach side villas.

The enigma team has still not responded that hacked people will get their coins. These people have to go through the victimization surely. The enigma team is guilty and responsible for the hacking.
