Firecoin2 initially began as a Feathercoin2, a joke coin created to poke fun at all the recent altcoin releases. However, after a surprisingly smooth launch, and some community support, it has been decided that this coin will relaunch as Firecoin2. I currently consider this to be a community created and maintained coin, as I have had little involvement (other than recompiling the client) in the transition to Firecoin2. Firecoin2 has a block reward of 200 coins and will have a total of 336 million coins.
