Yesterday, the engulfing bearish candlestick pattern emerged in the 1D timeframe, signaling downtrend as of now. During an uptrend, this pattern characterized by a large black real body, which engulfs a real white body (it doesn’t need to submerge the shadows). This signifies that the uptrend has been hurt and the bears may be gaining strength. The Engulfing indicator is also the first two candles of the Three Outside patterns. It is considered as a significant reversal signal for XRPUSD pair.

Monday's bearish outside-week candle does suggest scope for a bearish breakdown. A downside break of the narrowing price range (triangle pattern) would open the doors to $6,000-$5,950 (falling wedge support). That said, traders need to watch out for signs of a rebound from the April 1 low of $6,425.

An upside breakout of the triangle pattern could see bitcoin chew through supply around $7,200, confirming a falling wedge reversal (bullish pattern) and allowing a rally to $7,500 (double bottom neckline).

Only a close above that level would confirm the short-term bullish trend reversal.

Lol. $4,000 seriously? I was even expecting it and $5,000 earlier but it didn't happen. It's April already and I think we won't be dropping that low this time as we might start to recover slowly as we are approaching 3rd quarter.
