I guess it is possible, but not necessarily with daytrading. To select the real protocols from the apps coins and hold them long-term. So not for daily income but eventually to quit earlier from your current job and to retire, if the right coins were choosen.

It is risky to just depend in altcoin trading and expect a full time income by just that because altcoins are not that easy to predict and they are very volatile or even more volatile than bitcoin so it will be hard for you to have a full time income with altcoin trading so it is better to treat that as a sideline work.

Full Time Income in trading of altcoins is not impossible if you have big capital. It's like the Grocery store. You buy the Manufacturer at a discount for the bundle and sell it to the buyer with profit.  if you are losing an altcoins you have two option to sell it or to hold it until they reach again. And the other coins you sell will be covered in the one Altcoins that dump in price.

Yes. Fact. Tongue

It's no cakewalk. You must be aware of the prices of your coins 24/7 when actively trading. Something can go wrong in just minutes.

Expect 5000 hours before becoming skilled.
Expect 10000 hours before becoming expert.

You can lose almost everything in the early times. Even more than once.
Start small but full time. If you are destined to be good at it you will know because you will stop making big mistakes and your long term (measured over months) gains will start being more than your losses.

Yes, it is definitely possible to become a full time trader and earn a steady income from it, but it is also not that easy as the starting capital needs to be a huge amount in order to gain huge profits from margin trading, patience is also another key as the price of some altcoins might remain stagnant for a long period of time, and obviously selling those altcoins at a loss trade is not the ideal solution. With no income from other source except trading, holding the altcoins until the price rise could be quite stressful too.

It is generally possible to grow capital via investing or speculation.
But first of all, growing capital is not the same as income. The idea is that you grow capital and then you live from the capital gains. You never use you capital to pay your living expenses.
The other thing is: It being possible does not mean that you can do it. I think it requires a professional approach. That means you have to research strategies until you have a trading system that you know does work. And then you have to be able to trade by the plan, which most people can't do. It requires understanding your own psychology and take conscious control of your actions (in trading). Almost everybody thinks they are of course in control of their thinking and actions. Anyone who believes that is delusional.

Yes the stress can be crushing also... forgot that one.
But if you are successful it's worth it. You can take breaks and leave the market for extended periods if you have a good run.

Absolutely not, if you look at this market, smart people always do other businesses, trading cannot provide regular income, but you need regular income to live.

I agree with you, as we know, there are whales in this market and the price can be controlled by them, if you do not know much about their strategies, you may lose your money when you trading. So, my advice is trying to find some potential ICO projects and buying the initial coins for long term investment.

You need know most project ICO in current are scammer and very difficult for find a really project and can growth in future after crowdsale complete. Example: PTOY after crowdsale until now I not see any update from this Team, although the marketcap of it not small.

It is possible to make a living altcoin trading, but only if you have enough capital to start. Without a decent amount of capital, it is not possible.

Sure it is possible but also risky. If you have enough experience in trading than you can do it. But for regular income need to think because for regular you have must some another business for backup.

Hello there,i have learnt a lot about bitcoin and i am very interested in it.I also like trading but i have not done altcoin trading before.
I wanted to know can altcoin trading provide consistent and regular income ??

it's not different than forex or other market, but it's more remunerative if you do it with altcoin, because altcoin can increase 1000x without thinking, but i think that miner is better less stress and less risk, and with many rig you can have a full time job by doing nothing lol

A friend of mine, a computer geek approximately a month ago approached me with the proposition to collect funds fro crypto portfolio. He showed me his statement with 20-30+% daily return, though on small volume. But it actually was a daytrading. The main problem was liquidity. It was such a pain in the a..., that we started thinking how to solve it. Crypto exchange is a way far from efficient stock exchanges and creates lots of opportunity to make crypto profit.

I like to see it as a long-term goal - maybe a dream -  and to reach this goal I see no other way to invest in the right project and wait for the time it takes. Think of Ethereum or Ripple ... I admire day traders but it's heavy stuff;)

It's hard to trade if we have a regular jib since we might missed some increase in alts value,  but as long as we can manage to look into it once in a while then it's indeed a good job better if will make it as a full time but be sure you have really know how to look into it.

The time buying and holding cryptocurrency for waiting reach to target is gone, if you still keep this strategy, after the purification of the market, you will been eliminated out the market and can't continue trading in future, because in this time just for trader know technical analysic as Forex market or stock.

It is possible to have fulltime income with altcoins trading but it will happen if you have patience, perseverance, and hard work. Also, you should have good strategies in trading this altcoins. You should prevent the scammers. You should decide properly for you to have a nice profit. You should keep those altcoins in a safe wallet so you will not regret in the end.
