Are you serious that you want to interprate brain signals? It would be wonderful but I think this is far fetched. You can then just as well create a device for telepathy.
Do you already have an idea of how to do this or are you starting from scratch?

This is one most exciting concept i've ever know. To protect the account/coin using mind as the password, if it success, the it will be the most secure protection in the world. Good luck with the project dev.

This is a very interesting project, I want to translate it to japanese language if it is permitted. But I am interested to also invest in this project.

Dear jc12345,
Thank you for bringing this up so early in the thread so we can avoid further misunderstandings. This is NOT a mind reading device. There is an explicit paragraph in the white paper that describes this potential confusion. There is no attempt of brain signals' interpretation as "intention decoding" or similar. The device, at least as we envision it in its first iterations, is taking advantage of a very specific and known neurophysiological phenomenon in response to visual and acoustic stimuli. More complex versions will combine further biosignals for more unique responses.
The main challenge of this project is actually not the science behind it, which is mostly established, but the possibility to achieve the above promises with inexpensive 3D printable designs, out of the lab, and tied to the blockchain.

What's total token will be? Is this project based ETH platform? If yes, that's good. The roadmap is full of waiting, bored Looks like just have 2 update per years,

Thank you all for your interest. We are working on the details of our presale platform, it should be ready in a few weeks time. There will be a bounty as soon as next week. You will be informed by our community manager. In the next few days we will link here as many blog posts as possible to elucidate technical and procedural aspects of the project. In the meantime, have a look at how big this market actually is. @necromastery, Indeed and we are taking this into account. Our roadmap is not necessarily static. We will enrich it with more milestones as our project matures. Nonetheless, please consider the nature of this project that combines both hardware and software aspects. Hardware needs a lot of field-testing, and although 3D printing and off-the-shelf components decrease design/production times and costs considerably, we still need to be relatively conservative with our prototype and full-product release estimations.

The project sounds really ambitious, it could have countless applications if it works the way you present it. My question is, from what I understood, since the "device" will be open source, everyone will have access to the raw data going into it. How does it make it different from fingerprints or iris, since it's still something you can't change? Do you intend to use a different set of signals for every single use, with a combination of stimuli? Is it possible?

This is a very good point. a interesting project. password is very private thing, If we put it in to blockchain , how to encrypt it. By the way : Reserved translate to Chinese.

Fresh concepts and ideas, I've never found a project with a concept like this, it's really new, very good, but I wake up more information from this project, I'll see the next few days, good project, good luck

This concept is sound and quite different from most of the tokens I see flying up and down in the space, but my main concern is that do the team has the technical know how and expertise to deliver what they promised. I will definitely find time to read more on the project and the idea

The biosignals of one or more stimuli challenge/response sessions are used to generate a unique password. The biosignals are indeed the raw data, but they never leave the device and the premises of the user. You never broadcast anything to anyone. The device itself is not recording your session for later use. What is sent and stored on the blockchain is a highly secured hashed function of the password. When it is time to authenticate/identify, the device simply checks the latest hashed version of your sessions on the blockchain and matches it with your ability to re-elicit that same biosignals locally. If it is matched, you are in. If not, you are not. Again, all challenge/response sessions take place locally, this is a critical point to remember. Indeed, we envision various permutations of stimuli and neurophysiological reactions for different uses and sessions. Combinations are possible and even desired for added levels of security. For more information please see our White Paper.

Thank you, Smolko and everyone, for your kind words so far. We have a new post on our blog regarding Biosignals in general. It is important for us to explain why we believe dynamic biometrics (as biosignals should be considered) are potentially more secure and flexible than classical static biometric (fingerprint, face, iris, vein, etc.) approaches.
