I gamble a lot using Alt coins now a days like doge or litecoin, my reason is because they are cheap and with a few amount of Bitcoin to exchange for this alt coin i can gamble safe and i can also try different strategies without losing a lot of money.

These coins are quite cheap and it is good that you gamble with them. Even if you lose the game, you won’t loss a great amount. Besides gambling is totally dependent on luck so here we can’t take a risk with expensive coins such bitcoins. I will suggest keep gambling with these coins.

I've never put any real trust in ETH because of all of the scandals surrounding the coin. Right after the whole DAO disaster, I completely gave up on it.

There are really lots of issues on ETH which i dont really seriously engage on it but its not bad to use it on gambling purposes because i do like the confirmation times and the same with other altcoins too but most people do really expect to use bitcoin directly without minding too much on converting to altcoins.Its peoples preference if he would like to use it or not.

I don't gamble much so my vote went for that. But I do gamble and I enjoy doing it with bitcoin. The only reason I see why to gamble with altcoins is when they give you them for free.

Fees also shouldn't bother anyone who is going to gamble. If you are not lucky that money is already lost so 1$ up or down won't make any difference. And bitcoin transactions are very fast lately with very low fees, unless bitcoin price jumps over $50K in that case gambling will become "entertainment for the rich". But that is far future.

If Bitcoin prices jump over $50k fees will have to adapt as well. If not, people will just gamble with altcoins instead. And there's always the option of just gambling with fiat.

I don't think fees will rise with the price rising. I don't know much about the technical side, but I'm telling from my own experience. Fees were much higher than now one month ago but the price of bitcoin was much lower.

i think yes that the transaction fee is already so high and i think people already find it difficult to hold pay the fee therefore to me i think the the fee may not not be increase with the increasing price of bitcoin i think we are even expecting that the transaction fee will be over view and may be the exchanges reduce the transaction fee.

More than that we still don't know how high a bitcoin value can go and what if it reaches to $5000 by the end of this year and we used all our stash for gambling. Altcoin gambling is allot better than Bitcoin gambling.

If we look at the speed of doge transactions can be very superior, especially when we see in terms of price, with doge we can gamble with a very minimal amount when compared with ethereum

Now I'm seeing the amount of BTCs being gambled increased again. Before the fork there were more people using AltCoins to gamble, principally Litecoin and Ethereum, now I see these coins disappeared a bit, not totally anyway. Seems gamblers were just waiting the fork happen to start gambling with their Bitcoins again. Probably because the price is increasing very well too.

but i think if gambling site still using altcoin, then gamblers have many option to place a bets and they can deposit without waiting too long. i think in future, altcoin will still used in gambling site because beside the price is not too expensive depend bitcoin, if we want to place a bet in big amount with altcoin is still cheaper if we used bitcoin.

I think the price fluctuations in the BTC will make gamblers to go for altcoins. Altcoins may shoot up for some time but they will be dumped soon. I use ETH and LTC for most of my gambling. I always felt better with using them than to use BTC.
