Gambling with altcoins

If we know we are good at gambling and feel there's a pure winning chance, then giving a shot with an altcoin shouldn't be an objection because alts will surely rise in the future and if we have the courage to bet big in alts, then it's more of an opportunity and grabbing it should not be a problem. My first choice will still be bitcoins because nothing can beat bitcoins in the end.

I have some alts on hold and if I'm not in that good time to gamble with my bitcoin because it's quite being low at this moment or with the same scenario, I'm not going to gamble with my bitcoin. There are a lot of alt coins that I can choose to gamble and every casino does have their own choices for the alt coins which is in favor to us.

For me, I could easily gamble with altcoins if I feel the need to play, it does not affect my holdings because I can easily buy and just play.
Gambling with altcoins will give you an advantage for cheap transactions but not all sites are accepting altcoins so we are force to gamble with bitcoin.
Actually I am also a holder of altcoins, I love to diversify my investment with altcoins because they are also profitable.

I just simply don't want to buy with my spare money if I do have some holdings. I want also to win and grow my alt coins the same with my bitcoin and I feel it as a safe haven when I do gamble with my alt coins. It's one of the good thing in gambling with alt coin, you'll pay cheaper fees in transaction and that's why sometimes it's also good to gamble with alt coins but others don't want it.

For me there is no point in using altcoins for gambling. There is no benefit attained if I used altcoins, especially now that fees and transaction speed have improved after the recent bitcoin upgrade. It is much more expensive to use altcoins since you have to convert fiat to btc then btc to altcoin then gamble, withdraw altcoin convert to btc then convert to fiat. Those steps all require fees!

If you use a proper exchange you don't actually lose that much in fees, I just use Bittrex to convert my BTC into alts or I exchange on the casino website.

You can just convert BTC into altcoins on Crypto-Games (in my case) and they don't charge a big fee for that.

I agree with that, between altcoins and main coin difference is just the raised amounts for betting.Even it's more hard to win money with that altcoin amount, it will take time unless you play with btc..Just play with BTC

That seems to be right, and I also think fiat casinos doesn't have those options now specially at our local places in the country. But if we have that alternative using digital money whether altcoins or bitcoin as long as it's digital currency, then we will come to a certain system that casino gambling is an advanced type of gambling game that uses altcoins. For that to happen this type of gambling application must be adopted in the future of gambling, not even with online but also with legit offline casino houses.

You are right, but Bitcoin price is also fluctuating so I don't think that is a very big difference if we use our Bitcoin or our altcoins to Gamble. Personally I never played with other altcoins because I believe too much in Bitcoin and I like to play only with it.

They can not afford that loss.

Aside from leftover altcoins from trades, i think in general, most people who gamble with crypto use bitcoin. It isn't that hard to see since btc is the most accepted among cryptocurrencies.

Correct, people do that just for the convenience of it, not many casinos accept all the different crypto that you may be holding, ETH is also accepted in many places but not everywhere so instead of playing in a casino you do not like using ETH, people prefer to play wherever they want by using bitcoin.

I think it's opposite, when bitcoin's price is increasing it is the time that gamblers gamble with their bitcoin because they have more portion of mbtc to gamble. And when the price is getting lower, that's the time to hold bitcoins and it's good to gamble with alt coins. This is what I do when I decided to gamble and the price of bitcoin isn't good.

There's nothing wrong with it since you are only looking to have fun with them.

Would you buy altcoins with bitcoins and then gamble with them? Would you buy altcoin with dollars and gamble with it? Or would you mine altcoins and instead exchanging it to bitcoins and waiting for price to go up gamble with mined altcoins?
Either way it is the same thing.

Putting this much effort in earning a digital coin and then converting it into some other form or mining the crypto coins at the first place so that a person can gamble is not very wise. He must reconsider his actions rather decision of gambling. In a nutshell, digital currencies can be used in a much better way.

Play money or fake money is like play chips. You need to buy this PM in form of bundles or whatever and you are actually spending your own money, correct me if I am wrong.

If people only concerned about the bitcoin prices then can reduce their bet amount and bankroll to play with bitcoins. But currently, another issue also is transaction fees and slower confirmations that makes people gamble with altcoins, particularly who want to play with a small amount they may need to pay a higher fee and need to wait for hours to confirm the transactions.

That's why we will always miss directbet because they were normally allowing some Altcoins like like dogecoins and litecoins together with Bitcoin and ethereum. I know cryptogames are also offering Altcoins alternatives but there aren't many in the system just yet.

this is why i like playing gambling with altcoin but as many gamblers said that there is only few sites offering place a bets with altcoin. i think if there is more sites giving opportunity to gamblers to use altcoin for a bets, it will help for gamblers that don't have much of bitcoin to spend their altcoin for playing the games.
