Hello,

Is it possible to somehow underclock avalon 741 miner? What I mean is that, I need the machine to run a little quieter, so that it does not make that much noise (neighbours are crazy). I went around the controller interface a little, but I couldn't find anyway to make the machine run at %50 power or something.

Thanks

under the config cgminer tab change Vcore from default of 0 to -1 or -2. That will lower core voltage and the Avalon's auto-tuning software which constantly adjusts speed (and works vs Bitmains which is... and only runs at startup) will in turn reduce power used  and fans will follow that.

is there a way to undervolt just specific miners or is this available for only for the whole batch (same controller)?

You cannot change it individually, the change affects all miners on the chain.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.
