Can someone do a conversion and tell me the current GLD/USD price? Math is not my strong suit.
Around $0.000813271, so you can get around 12.3/penny. I think your math is wrong. I get ~0.00001: Last price on cryptsy is 0.00043 LTC (0.00043 * 2.67)/118 :-D I was doing it when the price on Cryptsy was .0003. Though with your numbers it should be .0011481.... why are you dividing it by 118? You just take the price in LTC * price of LTC in USD and get your answer, no need to bring in BTC. Ah, correct. I thought he meant like you view it on coinchoose in BTC. Hey, it's Monday! lol Lol yup!

To solve this: Go to your %appdata% folder on windows, then go to the map roaming make a backup of your wallet.dat file and put it on the desktop delete the gldcoin folder in appdata re-install gldcoin start it up, and then close it overwrite the wallet.dat file with your backedup wallet This should fix it Works like a charm, thank you.

It does not effect sending and receiving. Normal for newer coins with low network hashrate.

Yes. That is what happened to me also. that is due to low hashnetwork. The client works. just ignore it.

Thanks Useful thank you, You're welcome. Trying to help, but there are some issues that are beyond anyone's control once set in stone... I saw in this forum post : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=224026.0 - [ANN] Gold Coin Hard Fork - Update your Binaries Immediately advice to use: rpcuser=1 rpcpassword=1 in the goldcoin.conf You must use a Random (and long) password for these settings and a different user name or you can have your .wallet 'hacked'...Following the related thread post I saw numerous network access attempts, from known 'bad' IP ranges, scanning rpcport 8122 probably for this very purpose. I'm investigating the block chain and the full source code for each release. I probably should of done that before. Anyway, the ongoing calamities vs the potential of GLDcoin is whats keeping me interested at this time.
