So, here is the deal: the owner of gldcointalk scammed someone for 500K gldcoins and has closed the forum. This member was also posting on threads that GLDcoin is dead and that he was dumping all his coins. He was also selling the forum to make his last quick buck before he left the GLDCoin community.

I have therefore created a new forum for us which can be found here: http://gldcoinforum.com

I have some decent knowledge about PHP, Mysql, CSS and HTML so I will be able to manage this forum correctly. We need a stable website with a supportive admin to build a solid base for the community. I hope I will see you on the GLDCoin forum!

Thanks
really?

Yes, really Sad

If you want to get closer to block 21000, send coins to yourself, wait for 1 confirmation and do that again. A lot of blocks is mined just because now I do that and it's the only transaction in the block (except miner reward) just continue mining. There is no need of transaction since there is an empty non-genesis block:

I didn't see kr4x online before it was shutdown, maybe someone hacked the forum?
Don't think so. By the way it's online again.

Confused.
1. Where is the official forum now? gldcoinforum.com / gldtalk.org or ?
2. Who is the responsible for gldcoin development?

I think the community should stick together at one place (official one) and coordinate work from there, at least at this early stage of project. having multiple forums will divide community across them.

They have goals.
Apparently, they think the someday, 1 GLD will be worth $1.00USD. And, they also think that Blizzard, the gaming company that pretty much prints their own money, and really has no want or need, to support any Crypto Currency, will one day, support GLD.
I don't know what is in that KoolAid, but I think I want some.

Let this be a lesson to *all* coins: 'official' forums need to be run by community members with rep.

Spying on a dead coin? Eh.. There is no point in explaining that Blizzard was used as an example, sigh..
