Would be stupid one to make block time to 1 minute without changing reward, it would make daily coin production 2.5 times bigger and price would plummet. I really don't understand where he got that idea.
stupid dev, gldcoin is failure

My guess would be, he's trying to speed up confirmations times, because right now, it takes half a day to send someone 100 coins. I seriously don't know why they don't just let it go. It's not even a good coin...It offers nothing, and noone likes it..

It will take half of day no matter what as long as there's no miners.
Goldcoin is nothing more stupid and less useful than any other altcoin out there.. let's stop kid ourselves, none of them offers anything at this point except the chance to make few bucks from trading and mining.

The response to my offer has been overwhelming.
I have successfully purchased an additional 7,000 KH/s for the Goldcoin network that is now mining for gold!

Again, these people don't give a fuck about GLD, once you stop paying them, they will stop mining it

The gld.vircurpool.com does not seem to be updating. Any suggestion as to where to point this 7,000 KH/s to mine GLD?
If needed, I could set a pool up on CryptoCoin Mine, but it would take me a couple of hours.Maybe less depending on how the alt-coin gods feel tonight

Will make these changes tomorrow: http://www.gldtalk.org/index.php?topic=8.0We'll keep about 5,000 KH/s pointed at VirCurPool until the AM. wow, just your small addition to the network has halved the transaction speed

Respect mate, it's really nice to see someone taking an active approach of supporting one coin. People usually think the active support is posting "this coin to the moon, this coin is great, blabla" stuff but you really stood up and took some action.

I was about 3/4 the way done setting up the Goldcoin pool when I saw that the issue had been sorted. I went ahead and finished the pool anyway. CryptoCoin Mine now has a Goldcoin Pool!!gld.cryptocoinmine.comport 6060 Stratum port 6339 LP CCM is part of CryptoCoin Explorer and pool profits go to help fund Cryptocoin Explorer. The pool is a normal 1% pplns pool for now. Please register and create a worker to start mining. I plan on switching all the pools to PPS, when I feel the pool software I am using (A current and actively developed mmcfe), has been through the bug shake down.
