Community members eager to receive free tokens, have joined the telegram channel at a steady pace since Spotcoins’ initial announcement on Monday, of the anticipated airdrop.

The announcement caused confusion with some in the community about the airdrop registration. After registering with the Spotcoin website, a popup for the airdrop registration was expected immediately, some members expressed disappointment and felt misled to register with Spotcoin. I will admit, I too was confused until I went back and re-read the announcement. I realized my excitement kept me from reading the entire article.

Included in the Medium announcement, the photo below shows there are separate registration dates for each token, however, you have to be registered with Spotcoin to participate. To avoid congestion and delays in registering for the airdrop, Spotcoin provided an opportunity to sign up on their website early. In my opinion, this was a well thought out marketing plan, in order to make the process as smooth as possible.



I joined Spotcoins’ telegram channel when there were less than 100 members, so I have witnessed their interaction with the community from the beginning. The leaders and team are always putting the community first and any “marketing stunt” will always be in the best interests of the community.

Not only was Spotcoin taking care of their followers, but what a smooth move for supporting the Neo ecosystem. I anticipate high trading volume for RPX, SWH, QLC and EFX due to the airdrop requirement. I am interested to see how much volume this brings.

There was some concern with the required NEP5 token (RPX<QLC<SWH<EFX) being dumped within an hour of the snapshot. It has been my experience in the past that this is not an issue. There was mention of wanting to keep their NEP5 token on an exchange, although it is recommended to use a wallet that supports NEP5, you can use an exchange address. Please keep in mind, there is no guarantee you will receive your Spotcoin on an exchange because it is up to the exchange to support the airdrop or not. If you have a wallet that you are in control of and provide the NEO address, you will receive the NEP5 token, if you have successfully completed the requirements for participation.

Unlike many other airdropped tokens, those within the NEO ecosystem have a high probability of increased value once on an exchange. As seen with Ontology, the trading price has been as high as $13, LRN traded at up to $4 and within the last week other NEP5 tokens have had an increase up to 74%. (the values given are what I have seen trading on Switcheo)

With that being said, there should be no reason to doubt the value of Spotcoin given the benefit they intend to bring to the NEO ecosystem. Currently there has been no announcement of airdrop for NEO holders.
Spotcoin is bringing several solutions. Spotcoin was founded in Novemeber 2016, operating an OTC exchange in Tblisi, Georgia with 10 million in volume for 2017.

It is hard to continue coming up with good news all the time. NEO already mooned a lot in the past 12 months. Probably majority of its grows it done at this point. They need to get more people using their platform for ICO's and also make that 100k TPS without sharding a reality for it to another say 10-20x.

Obviously the above is just my opinion. Hopefully it does not make some people upset. As that is not what it is intended to do. If I am wrong feel free to explain why

Regarding the current situation of NEO partners, I specifically went to the NEO official website platform to inquire about its aApp List, though there are many excellent high-quality companies. But in terms of ecological quantity, the gap with ETH is far too far.

i agree, but neo is undervalued if you compared to other top 10 coins, sitting at 11th place. Stellar, cardano, iota, eos, if you ask me, they should be bellow neo. I am not saying that neo is far far behind ETH, but i am saying that eos, ada, stelar are behind neo. And when other ICOS go to neo, and not to the mentions above, neo will outperform them. And ofcourse its all about the BIT. If bit goes to 16.6-18.6K, so will neo be at 126-136 range. but for now all i can say is,... oh neo neo, oh neo neo, what did they do to you.

There is always some kind of great announcement with NEO and NEP-5 tokens. I am very impressed with the NEO ecosystem community and the way the teams work together and help each other out. It is nice to watch in the different social channels and see members of different teams sharing projects of the other teams. This is not something you see every day and it really says a lot about the teams and where these NEP-5 projects are headed.

NEP5 TOKEN HOLDERS AIRDROP

It was announced today that all NEO addresses that held an NEP5 token prior to May 8, 2018 will receive an airdrop of Master Contract Token.
Here is part of the announcement provided by Neo News Today "1,000 MCT tokens are being distributed for each NEP-5 token held for any length of time, regardless of the amount. For example, if a NEO address held only RPX, RHT and ONT (in any quantity) at any point before May 8, 2018, they will receive an airdrop of 3,000 MCT."

I checked my NEO wallet, it has ONT and RHT in it (since 8 May 2018) and 1000 MCT have arrived.
It's not showing up on neotracker.io but the other 1000 should be on its way according to the Bot on the Discord channel.
Someone on the Discord channel is buying 1000 MCT for 1 GAS !

Has all your tokens shown up? I checked the Discord bot and mine all showed there with the block number to expect in my wallet. All should be dropped soon

I checked the discord bot too and it says I should have the 2000 MCT by now, but a dev on discord says there is a glitch in the nodes (or something like that) and some MCT have not arrived in wallets but they will re-broadcast after this 'first pass' of broadcasting is done and this should correct it.
I've also an old, empty, RPX wallet and when I check the wallet 1000 MCT was in it..nice.
