Alright I don't think gox will be back any time soon, so what do you guys think would happen to your own particular account(s) when it returns? or not  Undecided

Edit: adding options for ppl who don't use mtgox.

I think it'll come back online, but if there is a mad rush to withdraw btc i'll be very surprised if mt.gox has it all accounted for.

Option 2 is a riot. Why should MtGox reimburse anyone for their losses when the whole thing is Jesus' fault?

I hope the bitcoin community starts to see the true potential of bitcoins as a medium instead of an investment. Why trade bitcoins when you can build a business that literally PRINTS them. If you don't have the ideas, message me and I'll get you started...

Looks like they've run off, their servers aren't even responding to requests anymore for http and https (it's not DDOS again is it?).

so all the delays are just a scandal to calm us down while they withdraw all the cash and flee?

With the rollback and with successful withdrawals that occurred during this incident, would it not mean that Mt. Gox is simply making it's balance sheet solvent while their actual amount of funds are lacking? This would make them insolvent and they would not be able to honor all BTC withdrawals, unless they are funding from their own pockets.

Time is money. This means that if you have spare time, you can use it to make money.

Modular, open, and stack-able miner case.

Maybe anybody who's familiar with BlockExplorer might take a look into this:
http://blockexplorer.com/address/1KLahQtqDNAXvrjNyfvgSBtAhwco5ZxLp4

They've moved [at least I'd read this so] all of those suspicious 432K BTC in smaller 5K blocks and distributed those also in some other way.
(but, it could also be some good sign, if these were the user's wallet.dat files)

If I think my account hasn't been hacked, and I had low bids that were eaten during the flash crash that would have netted me a pretty penny, then does that count as "Yes, my account will be fully restored." or "Yes, my account will suffer partial loss, at my own cost."

Too many trolls that try to monger baseless fear is simply too obvious. Try to be more subtle next time.

On a second thought, just leave. Go and solve your problems. You really can. This is just making it worse. You know who you are.

you should appeal and try to have gox cover your loss,

if you think you can convince gox to reinstate your buy orders, vote 2
if you don't think so then it's option 3. Roll Eyes
