Totally didn't think about this and it is a great reason to change it back. I'll make sure to do that Monday morning.

Changed back.  Smiley

All,

In reference to: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=54673.msg1699409#msg1699409

Please:

  • Make sure you password is unique for the pool.
  • Setup Google Authenticator under Dashboard -> Security
  • Make sure your payment threshold is low enough so you get multiple payment requests per day.

While we take every measure to make sure that coins are safe and only a limited number of them could be stolen at any point in time, if your account is breached because of lax security and reuse of passwords, it will not turn out well.

As for multiple payment requests a day, if the pool sees more than one from the same address, we combine all requests into a single output in the transaction.

Best,
James

Minimum difficulty should be hashrate/1.4.

The port 3333 works for me.

Tired of substandard power distribution in your ASIC setup???   Chris' Custom Cablez will get you sorted out right!  No job too hard so PM me for a quote

You can mine on port 80, 443 or 3333.

To mine on port 80, you do not need to enter a port, cgminer/bfgminer just assume port 80 if not specified.

Development Update

PPS rewards are working and are being calculated correctly. I have some bug fixes to make today regarding different areas of the site that are affected by the new rewards system but nothing major.

A pool user was kind enough to point out that the payment threshold setting wasn't able to be set below 1. I will correct this.

When making a payment request manually or setting the threshold, the minimum will be 0.01 BTC. I am also going to lower the network fee to 0.0001 for each withdrawal.

After these items are knocked out, I'll be moving on to more features that have been requested by users and my staff.

One more thing, if you know of any 50btc.com refugees that would like to mine with us, make sure you use an invite to get them on board.  Smiley

why so big difference?

The pool average is only an estimate. It will fluctuate under and over what cgminer reports. This is because of "share variance".

If you look at the "hashrate" chart on your Dashboard, you'll see a 2hr average which should be more consistent.

Sounds like this needs to be in a FAQ.

I need alerts for decrease in hashrate, not just dead miner.

I lose a lot each day due to rigs that will have an issue that severely reduces their hashrate but doesn't actually stop.

There are several pools that offer this (you set a percentage drop and are alerted when it fluctuates by more than that amount). Would like to see it here too.

This has been added to the list.

It will be a premium feature and will be available when the plan structure is finalized and live.

Development Update

  • fix the payment threshold to work with balances smaller than 1
  • total unpaid rewards should be on the rewards page
  • add setting for where to redirect the user once they are logged in
  • Fix rewards page to properly show PPS rewards as confirmed and in the confirmed rewards balance
  • Finalized the PPS code and it is now live. You can change the setting per worker.
  • Make the insert/update worker calls work with API calls. Documentation is at /api
