Is it just me or do the smartest people all still support bitcoin?

Even the people are not that smart they are still supporting bitcoin because they believed in bitcoin and they are wise enough to not let bitcoin stay away from them because if they will continue to support bitcoin and keep collecting and earning bitcoin then they are not wasting any time because it will surely give them a lot of money in the future.

What does it mean to be a smart person?

Bill Gates was probably one but still, remember what he said about computer memory?
Satoshi himself when he designed bitcoin he never thought about mining pools or asics.

Both were smart but they failed at predicting the future as those two are different things.
Roubini predicted the financial crash and was cheered as an expert only to fail miserably since then in every damn way possible.

And there is also the possibility that bitcoin might not be that good for your business and the model of your business is not adaptable to crypto, so while you are smart on realizing this and the threat BTC is common sense you can't support it.
There would also be something to talk about the average iq of some posters here, but ... whatever.

If you look and compare the different teams behind Bitcoin and other Alt coins, then you will realize that the smartest people are still contributing to Bitcoin developments. <Bitcoin Core> Some of these Alt coins bring no new innovation and are merely a Copy&Paste job from the original Bitcoin model.

SegWit and the Lightning Network looks pretty solid, but Bitcoin Cash and other forks looks rushed and unorganized. ^hmmm^

The price of bitcoin has not been increased without support of someone. It is the people consecutive involvement due to which bitcoin price is increasing continuously and it is not only me supporting bitcoin many of my brothers like and promote bitcoin in the market. Students, youngsters’ even women are supporting bitcoin and investing in it for their bright future.

I'm just going off the rough feel of people's knowledge and acuity based on posts on here, no standardized quantified measures. There are problems with standardized tests anyway. I think some of these people get off on themselves with going-against-the-grain-feel-good emotion. So much to the point that they've convinced themselves it is a good investment decision.On the other hand bitcoin don't have any foundation or group of people controlling all developments but as bitcoin dev/user community is quite big there is lots of debate which make it hard to implement even a small changes like increasing block size, adding possibility to have smart contract over bitcoin chain etc.

     I mean that Satoshi was focused on challeging problems with the world economy, and so many of the newer generation are focused on business or technology. I  believe it is still possible to use blockchains to disrupt the global economy, but it is necessary to build incentives in to disrupt particular structures.

Crypto already run by almost 10 years base on history in forum so of course this is non stop because users,traders and investors support this digital currency,a lot of job are open by crypto,a lot of extra income and a lot of conveniece in everything in life so i'm sure all of us have benifits here even just a little still it's run by so many conveniece that crypto can brings.

I think they support the blockchain technology more then bitcoin in itself , because bitcoin as a currency is getting harder and harder at this point . Most people see it as an investment rather than a currency.

You are right.Only bitcoin has succeeded in revolutionizing the world economy.Smartest people still support bitcoin and the greedy hunters just jump from bitcoin to altcoins and from altcoins to bitcoin vice versa.They actually don't believe in bitcoin or altcoin.But the smart people just stay with bitcoin admiring its achievements and potential without concerning about its price fluctuations.
