I think making friends shouldn't have to take a lot of efforts. Most of the friendships that truly last happen naturally. They are also the type that make us truly happy. Maybe these circles are rejecting you because you're trying hard to be a part of them. And most times, it just won't work. Even if you later get to be friends with these people, it just might not last. So, just be yourself, do the things you really like doing and along the way, your true friends will find you. And no, don't listen to the advice that says social media is the way out. Most of the things that happen online are just superficial.
