Don't listen to anyone, if you happen to like current bitcoin price, then go ahead, just sell it and buy something nice, enjoy your like, don't wait and waste time forever.

I seriously doubt that people will firmly hold each and every satoshi till the price reaches a certain level. In order to benefit from whatever increase, it's always a healthy option to cash out some of your profits. If the price after that starts tanking, you can buy back at lowers levels, and ultimately increase your coin count steadily. If the price happens to go up further, you have enough coins sitting in your wallets that you can sell at a later point. In all the years that I have been in Bitcoin, one thing became very clear - the price always falls back to x levels before going up to higher levels. In other words, if you play it right, you can increase the number of coins that you have throughout the years, and at the same time enjoy the increasing price. At the end of the day, it just depends on the people. If one likes to hold till $10K and further, then so be it. If one likes to cash it all out at $10K, then that's fine too.

in fact people are purchasing bitcoin because they want to get some profit from it, and therefore i think that people are holding bitcoin because because they are sure that the the price of bitcoin will increase too much and i think we can see that the the price has already stared increasing and now bitcoin price is already trading above 3000$.

I am also agree with you that bitcoin hit to 10000$ it will take to more time I mean its price will not take a week or in few months hit to 10,000$ yes! it take more two years to arrive at that price. So I suggest that not sell their bitcoin immediately when after two years its price touch to 10,000 when you sell it to fair price.

to me although that price is also possible but i think it  will take a lot of time, but still we will continue to hold our bitcoin and even invest more and more money in bitcoin so that bitcoin become so much popular and continue giving us more profit and hope that a time will come when bitcoin will be trading above 100000$.

We're about to hit 4k dollars in 2017. So why some people think 10k dollars is not good to go. If we keep doing like this, bitcoin is likely to hit 10k dollars near 2019 or 2020.

Not thing is not possible, do you remember after the accident in 2013 Mt.Gox exchange stolen all Bitcoin of their user, the price of Bitcoin drop down from $1300 to lowest price, and not have trader in this time can say the price of Bitcoin will recovery. But look at the price at now, not only recovery, the price of Bitcoin breakdown old price and increasing to high than $3000/BTC => ~ x3 the highest price in 2013

holding it for a long time doesn't give you enough income from bitcoin it much better to do trading for more profitable method. because when you do trading if you buy low and sell high it gives you a lot and more profit that regular holding bitcoin and wait till it reach $10k. right now it's not that easy to reach. maybe in 2019 we can reach that barrier.

we are only make the money increase and not the amount of bitcoin. I think its better if we use some amount to another way to increase the amount like we can do trading even if we are just trade bitcoin pair altcoin, I think its enough for us to increase the bitcoin amount. by doing trading daily or weeks, we can make a good profit and can collect more bitcoin so we can grow our bitcoin.

I won't lie, I don't hold , I'm trading and investing and till 5k or more i will have at least 2x more. Trading is now only best way for getting more BTC's, and only reason for existence of such number of different "Projects" "ICO's". It is evident that will go much higher and that can pass all predictions.

Maybe. But I later realized that a MtGox style of manipulation by Bitfinex today is maybe not that possible. Bitfinex simply does not have enough volume to do it.

Is there no risk of BTC currency to "fall apart"?  I mean is BTC really that established with no possibility to be dissolved? I am quite afraid to invest a large amount and all.

More and more people outside of the bitcoin community are recognizing the fact that bitcoin is not a fad bitcoin is here to stay for a very long time and if that is the case then it is inly a matter of time before we reach a bitcoin price of 10000 I do not know how long it is going to take but we are going to get there.

To think of a better predictions you must be at forecast probabilities and since the price is showing a positive response in a long term journey as it reached to $3000 and up as the current price was revealed. So holding with a determined purpose is definite position to do now and no matter how hard it is to make a good stand despite of the problems you may encounter, like those speculators spreading wrong ideas about bitcoin. You should be more braver to face those diversions and always develop closer door of your mind, and with that you will find hard times waiting for that price of $10K to become reality. Just like that $3K, it was just a mere prediction and look at now it's really true and believable.

It may sound weird, but I find people focusing on the $10,000 to be very short term minded. Obviously, everyone has a certain target, but that should be way higher than that.

My personal 'conservative' long term target is a minimum of $50,000 per coin. If we look at how small this market still is, there is far more room for growth in the coming years, that's a guarantee.

People thinking that hodling is boring will definitely look back and blame themselves for not having done so. Hodling requires no risk, no effort, and still you see the value of your coins increase.

Agree and agree! I mean everyone has their owns goals and all, but $10k is just the beginning of the bitcoin game. It will probably hit $10k in 2018. My current plan is to start selling at $50k - I think that'll be 2022 but I sure would be excited if it comes early! At that point I'll have several hundred thousand dollars and I'll probably sell off maybe $1-2k a week and move it into something with less risk like an index fund. That way I'll be taking high profits but as the price of btc continues to climb up likely over $100k it should take a good number of years for me to sell off most of my bitcoin. Best way to do it. Wait for it to hit a high price ($10k is far too low) and gradually sell into the gains over a long period of time so you realize your profits while also allowing most of your crypto portfolio to continue to grow.

Yes, price increase with bitcoin is quiet promising. Hope this will continue for a longer time period. Every year by the end price increase happens, so the ongoing increase will lead to the next pumping that is expected by the end days. So rather than decline a gradual increase has got more probabilities.
