I don't know if you're aware of it but margin trade can take all of your funds forever. It's full of risks and hard to predict when opening new positions. Better than margin trade, you can try to find promising altcoins or tokens for holding in long term.

I don't know if you're aware of it but margin trade can take all of your funds forever. It's full of risks and hard to predict when opening new positions. Better than margin trade, you can try to find promising altcoins or tokens for holding in long term.

That's what the collateral is for, the one who is risking is the borrower, the margin trader, not the lender.

Anyone wanting a nice retirement should just buy some Bitcoins and leave it for retirement. $10,000 is nothing and actually Bitcoins will go into millions each. It all comes down to how much time one has to HODL it.

Like others have said, just take profits regularly and buy back so you can sell the profits and move to other investments rather than putting everyone in one basket.

At the end of the day, no one can predict how an investment may go so diversify but $10,000 is nothing when it comes to Bitcoin as we will see sooner or later.

In the market of alternative coins everything is much more unpredictable than when trading bitcoin. Therefore, you must be very careful. And it is desirable to have experience in trading.
But you can just buy bitcoin and keep a few years. This can give you a very large profit

Is there no risk of BTC currency to "fall apart"?  I mean is BTC really that established with no possibility to be dissolved? I am quite afraid to invest a large amount and all.

If you analyze the previous price history of bitcoin,then you can see every time when it increases and then decreases,its price gets stable only above its previous price.So,on seeing today's situation,more probability is that  bitcoin price would increase more and it has very less chances to fall since we could see legalization of bitcoins and mass adoption taking place.

no one knows when will bitcoin actually reach to $10000. It is good if you can spare such a huge amount and take risk on it. Looking at the future of the bitcoin it can be said that it can reach to $10,000 but when? I guess it will take quite a long time. I don't see this price of bitcoin before 2020 and even can take more time.
Bitcoin has the guts to reach to a quite high price but if something bad happened you can lose all your investment.

It may sound weird, but I find people focusing on the $10,000 to be very short term minded. Obviously, everyone has a certain target, but that should be way higher than that.

My personal 'conservative' long term target is a minimum of $50,000 per coin. If we look at how small this market still is, there is far more room for growth in the coming years, that's a guarantee.

People thinking that hodling is boring will definitely look back and blame themselves for not having done so. Hodling requires no risk, no effort, and still you see the value of your coins increase.

You must be damn right. The fixing of scalabiliy issues has brought new hopes among bitcoin investors and traders and I guess this time whales also will be joining the part to continue holding so that we are not going to see any corrections too. This way $10,000 will be highly possible by end of this year.

I was imagining, takes time how long the bitcoin price will until on $10k, 1 more year or will it be more than 2 years to arrive at that value and whether the value now will can survive until the next few days?

I am also agree with you that bitcoin hit to 10000$ it will take to more time I mean its price will not take a week or in few months hit to 10,000$ yes! it take more two years to arrive at that price. So I suggest that not sell their bitcoin immediately when after two years its price touch to 10,000 when you sell it to fair price.

The only major problem I see when someone is advocating strategy "just hold until Bitcoin will reach $xxxx" is simple - that final price we waited for is not the real final ultimate goal.
I am sure that in the future Bitcoin will reach 10k there will be people who will tell you - so, you can now wait until bitcoin will reach 100k in the future, and then you are all set.

I seriously doubt that people will firmly hold each and every satoshi till the price reaches a certain level. In order to benefit from whatever increase, it's always a healthy option to cash out some of your profits. If the price after that starts tanking, you can buy back at lowers levels, and ultimately increase your coin count steadily. If the price happens to go up further, you have enough coins sitting in your wallets that you can sell at a later point. In all the years that I have been in Bitcoin, one thing became very clear - the price always falls back to x levels before going up to higher levels. In other words, if you play it right, you can increase the number of coins that you have throughout the years, and at the same time enjoy the increasing price. At the end of the day, it just depends on the people. If one likes to hold till $10K and further, then so be it. If one likes to cash it all out at $10K, then that's fine too.
